positive - a beautiful old hotel - exactly my style negative - the garden and pool were not clean, - the breakfast was not fresh - smoking at the buffet (breakfast) is not ok in my opinion

We stayed at this hotel with a group of friends. The location of the hotel is great; very close to the sea front with nice gardens. However, the hotel has seen better days and needs a lot of maintenance. Some rooms were better than others but the room we were allocated had frayed curtains, rotting window cills and mould on the ceilings and walls. The worst part of our package was the evening meal. Sadly, the food provided (no choice) was exceptionally poor. For example, one main comprised three or four sardines (overcooked) with three small potatoes and a knob of butter. We were given steak and chips on another day but no-one could eat the steak because it was so tough and we only had six chips each. Another day we were served ray which had virtually no fish on it. If you stay here avoid the restaurant.

What a peculiar place...a great location, a beatififul building, great rooms, great vieuws... and ar the same time: derelict and in very dire need of some investment in time and money. This must once have been a great, new place - and one can only wonder what happened: the - very friendly- receptionist lady does not give anything away - as well she should’nt. Housekeeping is substandard, old dust everywhere ... and then there are the FLIES. Hundreds of them. Which is why there is a spraycan of insect killer in the room. C’mon - are we supposed to sleep in insecticide fumes? Pots of Dead plants in the corridors - WHY? The garden has not been tended in years - WHY? Breakfast: OK, but not cheap. And drinking the coffee will necessitate a rapid trip to the farmacy - to invest some imodium.

Hôtel vieillissant ça sent la moisissure dans les couloirs et les chambres. Ménage pas fait dans la chambre à mon arrivée là moquette était dégueulasse les fauteuil plein était remplis de poussière le lit n'était à peine fait entièrement c'est à fuire !! Le restaurant est fermé depuis le mois de mars , la piscine n'en parlons pas l'eau est verte sa donne vraiment pas envie d'aller se baigner dedans. La patrone n'est pas souriante et pas du tout commerçante je me demande comment ça fait pour que sa tienne debout à l'heure de aujourd'hui Je ne comprends pas comment sa fait pour avoir eu 3 étoiles car sa mérite 0 étoile je pense que pire on ne peut pas avoir !

Arrivé en fin d’après-midi, pour pouvoir profiter de la piscine mais à notre grande surprise celle-ci n’est pas en état de recevoir du public… la propriétaire nous explique, sans aucune gêne, qu’elle ne trouve personne pour l’entretien et qu’elle ne l’ouvrira pas de la saison. Je précise que j’ai reçu ma confirmation de réservation avec la mention : Notre espace détente nécessite des travaux et est fermé. La piscine extérieure quant à elle est ouverte à la belle saison…Nous avalons cette nouvelle et gagnons notre chambre (supérieur avec vue sur le jardin). Chambre relativement propre mais mur des toilettes et de la chambre sales. Une fenêtre dont le store est tombé selon les dires de la patronne et une nouvelle fois pas de personnel pour réparer. Le jour étant la à 5h30 pas simple de profiter pleinement de notre chambre… la seule chose positif est le calme. En même temps je pense que nous n’étions pas nombreux à dormir dans cet hôtel qui a dû connaître de belles heures de gloire mais qui s’éteint à petit feu…

Nous avons uniquement testé le restaurant et vraiment rien à redire. Très, très bon, vraiment ! Jamais mangé un porc aussi bon et fondant. On recommande vivement ce restaurant. Le personnel est également très agréable. Le cadre est ancien mais cohérent dans son ensemble.

Hôtel en déclin. Je ne comprends pas comment il peut avoir encore 3 étoiles. Notre chambre était correcte bien qu’un peu vieillotte au niveau du mobilier qui a bien vécu. Il y a une odeur de moisi un peu partout dans l’hôtel. Peintures écaillées dans les couloirs… la Piscine semblait un peu à l’abandon et non fonctionnelle. En fait tout dans l’hôtel semble un peu à l’abandon. Le pdj est très limité avec des viennoiseries et des gâteaux brûlés. Nous avons dîner un soir sur place : ce n’était pas mauvais mais ça ne vaut pas le prix payé

Hotel in toller Lage, traumhafter Blick vom Balkon, fünf Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Keine Dusche, nur Badewanne - beim Duschen setzte man unweigerlich das Bad unter Wasser. Morgens um neun wurde der Pool gereinigt (war abar auch danach nicht besonders sauber), also kein Schwimmen möglich. Der Weg zum Pool war fast ganz zugewachsen, einen Tag war die Außentür zum Pool geschlossen und man musste außen herum gehen. Nachts ging ein Alarm los. Einen Abend sind wir um sechs Uhr zurückgekommen und fanden nicht ein einziges (!!!) Handtuch vor. Eine halbe Stunde später wurden uns zwei noch sehr feuchte Handtücher gebracht. An einem anderen Tag wurde ein Handtuch nachgebracht, die Tür aber nicht vom Service geschlossen.
