Ibis Dubai Al Rigga

The hotel seems to be in a residential area, and the restaurants nearby are reasonably priced. It's really convenient as the red line metro station is just a few minutes' walk away. For getting around, all you need to remember are the numbers of the stops. The only downsides are that the room is a bit small and dimly lit.

1. The room was clean and tidy, with no strange odors. 2. There were no toothbrushes, slippers, or water in the room; they must have forgotten to put them in, but you can just ask the staff for them. 3. There's no charging port next to the bed, which is a bit inconvenient. 4. Although the overall hygiene was acceptable, there were a few small flies in the bathroom. 5. The staff's service attitude was excellent and very enthusiastic. 6. The hotel's location is good; it's close to the subway, and there are many dining options nearby, making it very convenient.

The duvet in my room felt damp and the front desk service was exceptionally poor. I arrived early in the morning after a red-eye flight and just wanted to catch some sleep before my afternoon flight. The first hotel I went to (which I later found out wasn't the one I booked online, they even helped me get a taxi to the correct one) didn't charge me for an early check-in. However, at this Ibis hotel, the front desk made me wait endlessly and then told me I'd have to pay an extra 100 to check in early, otherwise, I'd have to wait until the afternoon. I explained my situation and even said I would be checking out early, but they insisted I pay. After paying, I didn't even receive a receipt. I'm left wondering if this kind of charge is fair or even legitimate.

The hotel is about a 20-minute metro ride from Dubai World Trade Centre, and it's conveniently located just 500 meters walk from Al Rigga Metro Station. The surrounding area is residential, so there are plenty of dining options, including Arabic cuisine, Chinese restaurants, and fast-food burger joints, plus a large shopping mall nearby.
