Wonderful hotel connected to DFC mall and near dubai airport , nice creak view.

Last weekend I stayed at InterContinental Dubai Festival City with my family, where we had booked two rooms. Overall, the experience was pleasant, and the hotel’s location is excellent. Especially its direct connection to Dubai Festival City Mall, which made dining and shopping very convenient. However, the check-in process was quite disappointing. It took over two hours to receive our room keys, which was frustrating . Given that we had booked two rooms, it would have been reasonable to at least provide one room key while we wait for the other room. This delay suggested a lack of efficiency and experience at the front desk, which was unexpected for a hotel of this standard. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and quality that we truly enjoyed. Aside from the check-in issue, the rest of our stay was very comfortable. The facilities, ambiance, and overall hospitality were all commendable.

Waited so long for checkout and actually there are only 1 guest in front of me. Then the reception staff saw me waiting, still spend a lot of time talking with the guest. And receptionist even let a man cut in line. No any apologies to me. So rude.

The best Lounge i have ever been to the cleanliness of the food the staff were amazing fast check in i would book again a thousand times

I entered the hotel room that appeared to have clean linen, but unfortunately the room itself had not been cleaned properly. The toilet floor had some toilet paper debris, the services were dust, there were soap marks in the bathroom and the furniture, including the TV cabine, was covered in dust and stains. I reported these concerns to the front desk and although housekeeping was sent to clean the room, the issue was not resolved satisfactorily. It was a disappointing start to my stay and has left me uncertain about booking this hotel in the future. As the hotel appears to be extremely busy, I feel that cleanliness standards and accountability for housekeeping are being overlooked. The breakfast experience was average and the long queues were frustrating. However, I did particularly enjoy the yoghurt selection. In addition, the staff member responsible for handling the complaint calls and checkout reminder calls was unpleasant to speak with. A more customer-focused and professional approach in these interactions would greatly improve the guest experience.

The InterContinental Dubai Festival City delivers an excellent stay from every angle. Its location is unbeatable—just 10 minutes from DXB with a direct indoor link to Festival City Mall and nightly views of the IMAGINE show on Dubai Creek. Rooms are modern and comfortable (book a Creek View), and the service is consistently warm and professional. Dining shines at Pierre’s TT and the Club Lounge, though the main buffet can feel chaotic. With a great pool, easy airport access, and a refined, business-friendly atmosphere, it’s ideal for travelers who prioritize convenience and quality over a beachfront setting. Highly recommended for a seamless luxury stay.

The location is very nice as it is connected to a mall. The services were all fine. The breakfast is great with many selections.
