Enjoyed our stay in the Leinster during a December weekend. The hotel is in a great location, very nicely decorated, and the staff were all excellent. The rooftop bar was great for both evening drinks and breakfast the next day. We added breakfast for €20pp and for that you can order anything off the a la carte menu as often as you like - pretty incredible value. Our room was a standard room and was extremely small - however, they don’t hide the fact that the standard rooms are small and do give you multiple warnings and options to upgrade as required. The reason it’s 4 stars rather than 5 is because: - the downstairs bar closed at 4pm on a Sunday - they didn’t turn on the steam room or sauna - no bottle of water in the room - the shower didn’t drain

The Leinster is a charm! I stayed with my husband before a Jack L concert in Pepper Cannister Church . We had exquisite cocktails ( try the espresso martini! )in the Collins club and bites from the food menu . Goats cheese, chicken with slaw , sea bass, blood orange muillefuille all perfection. The room was beautifully styled with great attention to detail and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast in Jean - Georges rooftop restaurant was also exceptional , fabulous city views, gorgeous decor and ambiance and the French toast was unparalleled . I mean really, truly ,exceptional . Finally the staff were magnificent. From reception at check in and check out really exemplary service . At breakfast also really wonderfully attentive and pleasant service without being overbearing. All in all the best hotel experience I’ve had in Ireland for quite some time . Keep it up Leinster Hotel. You are definitely going places 👏👏👌💡

Avoid this restaurant . Had lunch here today. Service is beyond awful and some staff are rude and dismissive. Lunch was good but certainly wouldn’t return as we constantly had to ask for a refresh on our drinks / waters and staff just seemed so uninterested and annoyed by our presence .

One of the best hotels we have visited as a family, we came here for my sons 18th and we were not disappointed, from the moment we walked in and Martin looked after us, nothing was too much… the restaurant on the 5th floor I would recommend to anyone Jean Georges awesome.. I had an awkward moment when i was choking on my venison and Hugo the waiter, basically he saved my life!!.. however, he was embarrassed with my €50 tip… which I thought still wasn’t enough!..

I'd give the hotel 3.5 out of 5 stars as it was better than average but unfortunately, just wasn't the experience I was expecting, based on other reviews I'd read . The staff are lovely and full credit to them , but the hotel itself just doesn't equate to a 5* experience for me, especially the room . We booked a studio suite but it just felt like a standard room. For me there was definitely no wow factor . In addition and whilst I know this is a boutique hotel , the lack of proper clothes storage and what storage is available is on view constantly , was irritating and just detracts from the experience . The balcony was a massive disappointment . Whoever designed the hotel clearly didn't think that a view was important . A far better design would have been to have the rooms with balconies offering a decent view of the city /at the front , rather than at the back of the hotel /overlooking the back of properties , some of which looked in disrepair . The balcony was also a poor design , pretty cramped and not somewhere you would enjoy being outside . It also seemed to attract flies constantly - I don't know whether the bins were below anywhere but this coupled with the other issues made the balcony unusable .There was also an unpleasant smell of drains in the lobby for the duration of our stay , I did mention it to staff in passing but they didn't seem to recognise it as an issue although it was definitely noticeable . We had drinks in the Colins bar one evening and I really liked the venue . I did enjoy it although both my partner and I found the cocktails were just average - I had expected a much better choice and selection . We also had dinner in the restaurant, one evening - my partner's was excellent mine enjoyable but again , I wasn't wowed . Overall , I think I was foolishly taken in by the social media hype surrounding this hotel but which didn't translate into a 5* experience unfortunately and isn't worth what we paid .

Great hotel, warm atmosphere, very kindly people. To be honest, i didn’t expect it when I saw the hotel on the outside. The rooms were stunning. We also had dinner in the restaurant on the fifth floor and that taste was also on a very high level.
