This was my second visit to this great hostel. Last time I visited with friends, this time as a solo traveler. I choose to stay here because of the central location to all the tourist areas, but the hostel is more than just that. The staff are friendly, and welcoming. The dorm which I stayed in was spotlessly clean, with a good hot shower. Each bed space has a shelf for your phone, glasses etc and handy plug sockets. There is even a cage for each bed, which you can lock if your bring a padlock. Handy for locking away your valuables. There is a lot to do at the hostel. A games room and cinema room in the basement, and a bar which served my cheapest pint of Guinness in Dublin. The absolute highlight of my staff was the complimentary continental breakfast. The sausage rolls are amazing, when they’ve just come out of the oven. I will definitely stay here again the next time I come to Dublin, and would recommend it to anyone.

We wanted to find accommodation that was in the heart of Dublin but didn't cost too much and we found the apartment to be great for us. Don't get put off, there is a youth hostel *and* apartments we were a little taken aback at reception, as we thought we would be in bunk beds but the apartment was great had all the amenities that we needed. Only thing may be missing was soap and shampoo and coffee and tea/milk. Being in the centre of the city it is a little bit of noisy late at night but that's to be expected for the location. Bobby and the team at reception were very welcoming and were a great introduction to this wonderful City right down to the colourful shirts that Bobby wore!

Abbey Court hotel is in the city centre, just across the bridge to a famous Temple Bar quater. Our room 41A was on en suite on the fourth floor. The room was clean and cosy.Towels changed every day. There was a continental breakfast - cereals, jam, butter, toasts, cheese, ham, coffee, tea.

Hostel had a friendly vibe, cool murals and nice clean facilities. However, after I left the hostel and flew back to the UK I'd left a bag of souvenirs behind. The amazing hostel staff went above and beyond to stay in contact with me and help arrange getting this all back to me - amazing service! 😁

Stayed here from June 11-12/23 when I first came back to Dublin since I was last here in 2016. This place is located on the north side of O’Connell Bridge and half block west which was so convenient for getting to places, even walking distance to numerous popular attractions and catching the HOHO bus only a few blocks north on O’Connell street. One place I went was EPIC: the Irish emigration museum, which is only a 6-7 minute walk east and when I spoke with the reception folks some of them never heard of this place which I think is because they were new to the hostel and maybe they were not from Dublin but they seemed interested in going to this place which I actually enjoyed visiting. The place was fairly clean, reception was big with 3-4 people during the day to help you, so when I checked-in it was fast and simple which they gave me a room card key and the wifi log-in details were posted on a chalkboard in the reception lobby area, the door to the stairwell is locked for security, and the stairs had colorful artistic pictures of musicians, African animals and even Nelson Mandela which I really liked. My room was on the third floor and was a 10-bed dorm room, the room was decent and clean and you had to use the key card provided to get into your room, as well as the secure door to get into the stairwell to get to the basement and your rooms you had to scan your card. Each floor had several small bathrooms and a shower room with a sink and such. In the basement there was a big cafeteria style seating area and an industrial type kitchen area. At the far end of the café area in a small garden style seating area and storage area for bags as well. You go through another door to go for breakfast which there’s signs pointing the way to breakfast. Breakfast was actually decent though it is mostly cold items meat, cheese, cereals, bread, boiled eggs, oranges, coffee and juices. I am curious on who is actually responding to these reviews because I took a look at the reviews from before I stayed here and I noticed that at the top it says a Sonya O'Dolan, General Manager then at the end of the response it says Kind Regards, Dezirae, Reception Manager. Overall, I really liked this hostel and would stay here again if I am ever in Dublin again. 4.5 of 5 for food choice and quality 5 of 5 for location 4.5 of 5 for security and safety 4.75 of 5 overall

I've stayed in a few hostels around Dublin and this is the best. I stayed 5 nights in August. There is complimentary breakfast with lots of options. The staff are kind and helpful and there is cleaning through out the day. You do not see in the photos but the room I was in had curtains around each bed for some privacy. The beds have power sockets to keep your devices powered up which is something all travellers must think about. There are shelves and lots of extra power sockets in the rooms too. I have stayed in other hostels where is almost conflict over two few powers sockets but no issue here, more than enough for all! Each bed had a cage to lock your belonging. I had a padlock or reception will sell to you. The best part is the location, you cannot be more central in Dublin. The Guinness in the bar downstairs is 5.50 euro which for Dublin you would struggle to find a cheaper pint!!
