The Hotel is good, is really close to the airport more/less 10-12 minutes ,in addition offered a shuttle service 7/24 (every 20 minutes) The rooms are clean and all around areas. Staffing are friendly and with good attitude. I recommend this Hotel

I have just retuned from a weekend stay at the Merrion with my daughter to celebrate my birthday. It was absolutely beautiful. Our room was spectacular, huge, so clean and every amenity you could wish for. The turn down and make up service was the best I have experienced in any hotel. Real attention to detail. Room service was so prompt and the food was amazing. We had drinks in 1923 and The Cellar Bar, both of which were also awesome. We ate in the Sunday evening in The Garden Room which was fabulous. We used the Spa facilities and had treatments each. Our Therapists were really great. Overall a very memorable trip and I was unable to fault any aspect of the hotel. We will definitely be back.

The Green Hotel exceeded all my expectations. It was centrally located, beautiful, clean, comfortable and the staff could not be more helpful or nice. This was my first trip to Dublin and Jessica at the front desk was wonderful in providing help and assistance. The room was spacious and everything was in proper working order. The breakfast was unbelievable and so delicious. The perfect meal to start the bay exploring Dublin by foot. I highly recommend this hotel.

This really is an absolute gem of a hotel. We were given such a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. Our room was a standard room but the furnishings and complementary goods gave it a luxury feel. The bed was super comfortable with soft linens and huge fluffy pillows. The hotel had thought of everything including umbrellas to borrow for the typical Irish weather. We were able to easily walk into the heart of Temple Bar. The breakfast served was unbelievably delicious and lots of it! All freshly cooked from a vast menu. This is a family run hotel and the personal flare really shows. Can’t wait to return!

The Davenport is in a great location, of beautiful Georgian architecture, has a comfortable bed and comfortable pillows, good size rooms and ample supply of hot water in the shower. Where it seriously falls off, however, is in service: (1) Before arriving after an overnight sleepless flight, I specifically authorized the hotel to charge a surcharge on the representation that it would prepare a room so we could check-in upon arrival instead of the 4 pm check-in time. Upon arrival, however, we were told that check-in was at 4 pm and they’d charge the surcharge only if a room became available before then. After lots of back and forth, the clerk “found” us an upgraded ready room and advised that he would not charge us for either the upgrade or the early check-in. He then proceeded to charge my credit card for the surcharge and an additional deposit I hadn’t been told about. (2) The next day our room was not cleaned, despite our having put out the door sign. The clerk finally found a housekeeper who came at 7 pm with clean towels. The tissue box was left empty. (3) The in-room “cooler” was not working and we had perishable items in it. The clerk promised to have it looked at and made functional, but neither happened in our entire 4-day stay, despite repeated requests. Hotel guests should not have their vacation time interrupted by all these problems. On checkout, the hotel manager said it would investigate, but we haven’t heard from him.
The staff were excellent, very professional and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding in a beautiful setting. The room was incredibly comfortable and premium. The location allowed an easy walk into the city and the beautiful building made it a special stay. Highly recommend.

We booked the Wilder last minute. The location is central but also not right in the middle so it was nice to chill away from the hustle and bustle of town yet it was easy to walk to. The staff were very easy to deal with and the cleaners and room staff were lovely and really helpful as were the bar staff. The complimentary gin and tonic, and the turn down room service in the evening were a lovely touch. The two next door rooms decided to have a party at about 1145 which went for half an hour so i called reception and they quickly contacted the rooms, and I was able to get to sleep. The ONLY thing i would say is we upgraded our room but our shower was tiny, im 6ft 2 so thought it was me but even my wife who is 5'5 found it hard to move in the thing. Apart from that I would recommend it to anyone as a perfect place for couple of business trips.

We recently stayed for 5 nights at this facility, the room was compact as we expected but had a compact well equipped kitchen, a king size bed and compact shower. It suited our purposes perfectly, we were able to go to a TESCO Express that was nearby and make some of our own meals. It was a short walk to Trinity College and many other venues we wanted to visit. Special mention: Friendly and Helpful Staff especially Natalia who we met when we first arrived and saw every evening of our stay; and Marcus who saw us many mornings, always smiling and saying ”Good Morning”. If again in Dublin we will definitely stay there again.

The location is right in the heart of the city, good for people who like clubbing. Heard that Temple bar area could be problematic at late night, but it was never a problem as we returned by 10pm. Many shops and good eateries within 5 min walk. The sightseeing spots are mostly readily accessible on foot.
Hotel staff were friendly and polite. Rooms are clean and towels looks new white. Walls are thick enough for sound proof, even not aware of one flushing in toilet in early morning. Our room faced the internal opening i.e. no view but not noisy. The only shortcoming is no fridge. Highly recommended.

A brilliant hotel perfectly located within Dublin. Next to trinity college, this hotel is a stones throw from all the tourist hotspots but equally the location is lovely and quiet, especially at night.
The hotel has been recently renovated to a high standard. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are well equipped. The service by the staff was top notch and the exclusive parking around the corner on a private, gated carpark for €15 per night was an added bonus. The breakfast was really tasty, a great selection of cooked and cold food to choose from and the coffee was also equally as good.
Will be using this hotel as my go to the next time I find myself in Dublin.

GGuest UserI think this will be a nice stay once their remodel is done, but wait until then.
When booked initially, the reservation was for the Hard Rock Hotel. About a week and a half before I arrived, NYX acquired the building. We received no notification about this from either business. The hotel was slightly outdated and undergoing the beginnings of redecoration. The staff seemed to either be hired by NYX and unfamiliar with the hotel or previous employees who were unfamiliar with the new management’s policies. For example, the manual chain lock on my door had been disabled in both of our rooms and the staff at the desk didn’t seem to understand how it had happened. They did move me to a room with a working manual lock immediately, but didn’t seem to understand why I felt the need for one as a single woman in the room and assured me that the staff would respect my privacy. The person in the other room in our booking also had his disabled but didn’t want to bother moving. The next day, housekeeping barged into his room without waiting for an answer to her knock. The person inside was just finishing dressing.
Other than that, it’s just little things that haven’t yet been worked out in the management change. For example their card scanners in the rooms and elevators seem to be new and still finicky, and the person at reception hadn’t read the laundry policy on the NYX laundry slips in the rooms. The slips specified it would be back by 6pm if picked up by 8am, but she said it might be the next day. She also had me bring the laundry down to the reception desk when the slip said it would be picked up. The staff was actually really great and when I pointed it out I did get same day laundry; it seemed like a new management miscommunication.
Overall, I’d recommend staying here after they’ve had a chance to settle and remodel. They were already starting to take down the Hard Rock decorations and I suspect they will also redo the older and brightly colored carpets and walls. Since we didn’t receive any notifications about the new management and redecorating, I’m not sure there will be one about that either.

GGuest UserFrom booking our stay to checkout, our entire experience was excellent. This is a 4 star, airport hotel, yes... but it's park location, proximity to the city and decor that would be at home in a gorgeous boutique hotel makes for an altogether elevated experience. Nadia could not have done more for us when we called to book and she really set the standard from the get go. Check in was smooth and pleasant and while the room was probably one of the last ones that hasn't been renovated it was huge, clean, comfortable, stylish (maybe very slightly dated) and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the shower pressure was good and the toiletries were all lovely. The little room snacks were also high quality and very nice. Every other member of staff we interacted with was extremely professional and personable, especially the waiting staff in the bar, where were had 2 very nice coffees. The breakfast was also extremely good and checkout was quick and painless. A taxi to the Grafton St area will set you back about €20 and the number 16 bus goes by, just outside the park very regularly. The parking facilities are excellent and the airport shuttle is incredibly convenient, modern and very clean. It's such a good all rounder. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. I think this is the best value 4 Star in Dublin.
JJunI like this hotel; I regularly stay here every two weeks. It is in a very central location, and it is easy to access all the facilities, such as the restaurants, shops, cinema, and bus stops. The service is professional, and the meeting lobby and bar are spacious. I highly recommend it.

Excellent
SSteven FaganThe junior staff were amazing, senior staff were up themselves, location was great hotel was clean. The dining area was too small and for a 4 star hotel I would've expected my breakfast served, not help yourself style you would find at a travel lodge. In short over priced rooms no lesuire facilities and for 4 mojitos cost €50 I've had better value for money elsewhere. First and last time I will stay here!!!
GGuest UserWe arrived around 5.30pm and stayed only one night. The welcome drink was a nice touch but however in the morning there was lots of banging next door to our room. My husband was up all night with a cold so we hadn’t slept much. When we walked out of our room at 9.30 am to have breakfast the cleaners were sitting in armchairs with their vacuums and cleaning g products. It felt like they were waiting for us to go. When we returned to our room to pack up ( check out is 12) there was a knock at our door at 11.30 by cleaners. It felt like a lot of pressure for us to get out and no privacy as they were siting outside.
The staff at breakfast hovered and were on top of us and asked us to order straight away before we even read the menu. The wait for the food was long and my eggs were cold when they came out.
There is no lift to our floor so passing the cleaners sitting in armchairs we also passed cleaners sitting on the stairs. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and not private.
The hotel it self is well located and beautiful interiors but wouldn’t stay there again. We have stayed at a lot of boutique and 5 star hotels all over the world and this was just average.

GGuest UserMy friends and I were all amazed by this very cosy hostel, with a nice staff, good breakfast, living room, nice showers, parking lot, for a good price. The room is in a former chapel with a beautiful Window. And rumor says a jacuzzi's coming! :)

GGuest UserLast time I stayed here ( about 6 years ago?) room was dirty so have not been back again until three weeks ago. Location is superb right at the edge of Temple bar along the River Liffey -downside its a party area so like most Hotels in this area dont plan to sleep until late as lots of noise from bars etc. Room was lovely with lots of nice touches -only big issues I had was in 12c Dublin coming from 32c Jakarta and central heating did not work-you have to call reception to get it switched on then it cuts off every hour and does not work again until you call reception-totally unacceptable for a 5 star Hotel . Ended calling them five times so not much sleep!! It was a Tuesday night so looked like one of the bars in the Hotel was shut-but lots outside anyhow. Did not have breakfast as last time I did was served-took ages and was cold-judging by recent reviews on tripadvisor looks like this still. Reception on check in and out would not win any prizes for their hospitality and were just ok-could learn from The Morrison across the river where I stayed a few nights earlier -genuine hospitality. Would I stay there again -NO -leave it to Bono and the locals -heat is a basic requirement as is hospitality-better Hotels for the same or less money to be had in Dublin City.

FFelipeVery comfortable hotel, 15 minutes walk from the center, large and very comfortable rooms, Irish buffet breakfast and very quiet. At first I had my doubts because of the proximity of the train but without problems, you can't hear it. Total satisfaction and from the Dublin Georges Quay Ulster Bank bus stop, it takes about 10 minutes to walk.

GGuest UserI stayed in a 4 bed mixed dormitory. Beds were very clean, and there waa enough space to store my travel belongings. There was no noise from other rooms, and the shower and toilet inside the room was clean and functional too. 15 to 20 minute walk to Temple Bar, another 10 minute from Temple Bar to Trinity Collegr. Had no problem walking from the accomodation to other points of interests in Dublin. Overall, a great value for travellers. Tip: Do reserve breakfast. The bread is warm if you go in the opening hour, and you can eat enough to last for both breakfast AND lunch while walking all day. Save the lunch budget for better dinner.

GGuest UserLovely budget hotel about 20 mins walk from Temple Bar area. Upon arrival nothing was too much and a warm welcome from Diana , giving us a coffee as we had come in on an early morning flight. Rooms were clean and basic. Comfortable bed , lovely clean shower room with powerful shower. A bit tight for room but it was only a base to get our heads down and change. There is a vending machine for morning coffee … easy walk into town… just follow the tram tracks , and easy for the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery. Excellent value for money if you’re going to be spending most of your time away from the hotel , but comfortable enough to unwind for a few hours too.
