Ezra was great . She was very attentive and responded quickly . Rooms are clean . Many restaurants close by . It’s a little far from the pile gate and old town , around 35 to 30 minutes walk . Bus stop is like 5 minutes away. It’s a quiet area but not the rooms. You would hear every thing including the foot steps. But to be fair Ezra warn me that first floor rooms are very noisy . Mattres was a little little hard , but I guess that’s just a personal preference.

Be very careful if you book here. It’s one of those places you enter with a key code then stay in a rabbit hutch. That’s ok, but if you turn up late, let’s say a flight delay for example or traffic problems, they’ll sell your room to someone else and not let you enter.

We booked kala when looking for a reasonably priced place for 4 nights in Dubrovnik and were so happy with the quality of the stay. The location for us was perfect, just off the harbour with a good selection of bars/restaurants to choose from on the same street, easy reach of old town on a 10 minute bus ride which is regular, although did get busy at peak times, and 10/15 minute walk to lapad beach. The rooms were clearly new, in perfect condition and renovated to a good quality standard. Was spotlessly cleaned and restocked every day. Reception staff were helpful (it’s not staffed all day but easy to reach staff on mobile number provided). The hot tub was turned down to cool in the hot weather making a perfect little spot to relax behind the hotel. Also a lovely pool bar 2 minute walk on the harbour where for the price of a drink you can use the pool, or hire sunbeds for the day. Would recommend the kala rooms and stay again if in Dubrovnik.

This is a new venue, contemporary, neat and comfortable at an affordable rate. Enjoy tranquility in the backyard at a quite central location. Hop on/of nearby local bus to/from city and old town etc. You have to go elsewhere for breakfast or arrange something on your own...
