We were in Ville-Marie for a triathlon and booked 4 nights at La Bannik campground. Overall, a great place to stay with beautiful views and friendly service both at the check-in and at the pool. The washrooms were clean and grounds well-kept. My only negative feedback would be how small the lots are. The fire pits should be staggered in a way that you don't see all your neighbours having their fires. Also, some more trees between the lots would help with privacy. Also, we ate at the restaurant one night and the service was pretty horrible. We arrived at 5pm and did not receive our food until 6pm. People who arrived to the restaurant after us were being served their food before we were even given our first glasses of water. Other than that, the campground itself is beautiful and I would return.

La Bannik was hands down the nicest place we’ve stayed on a sled trip. The accommodations were awesome, stayed in the Loft with 2 other couples. We purchased the snowmobile package which included our meals, the servings are massive so come hungry. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We are already planning to return on the side by sides in the summer! I would highly recommend this place!

We went with 2 other couples (one of which booked the trip) and had to bring our 9lbs poodle along. They are completely dog unfriendly and charged us $575 because of “cleaning fees” Signed papers quoted $300 in fee for dogs.. not sure why an industrial cabin is against small dogs. High end 5 star hotels in Toronto only charge a $125 fee per visit (for permitted dogs). Seemed completely unreasonable and out of touch.

We arrived early for our snowmobiling weekend and fortunately, our cabin was ready. Conveniently located on the trails. Unfortunately, the coldest weekend of the year. Cabins are comfortable, heated floor, propane fireplace , small kitchen area with toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker , fridge and microwave. Being the coldest weekend, our truck was not starting one morning, they did try helping with a booster pack but it was not charged. The owner did come by and plugged in our vehicle, but told us that we were not supposed to park in the driveway with our trailer, no one told us this, but they did tell out friends that arrived later. He insisted that we were told.... There was a smell in our cabin, unsure what it was, maybe kitchen sewers or propane fireplace, we never figured it out, but turned off the fireplace just in case. I found it odd that there's no maid that comes in to tidy up and provide fresh towels. Now, dinner reservations did not go as planned. Last minute we were told we would not have access to the menu and it would be a buffet only. Not that there's an issue with that other than the buffet was subpar. Store bought terrible meatballs, ribs were okay, but again store bought, terrible duck and shrimps you have to peel, along with potatoes and a bit of salad and veggies. The thing is, we were charged an insane amount which the meals on the menu are much less. $125.00 for 2 buffets and 2 drinks ($15.00) isn't even acceptable. It's pretty much gouging, We learned later on that the chef quit and they had many cancelled reservations due to this. So I guess they had to make money somewhere, and there we were! We checked out the morning after, only to find out they serve breakfast, to accommodate the snowmobile season, it would have been nice to know this, there was no mention of this on any website, social media or during check-in. It seems like there's a lack of communication. Not that we'll never return, but we'll know what to expect.

Just coming from 4 days at La Bannik with family. We all really enjoyed it there. The unit was made of wood so it felt very warm and was really clean. We used the pool and the beach both of which were warm. The unit had a hot tube which was welcome since it was a bit chilly when the sun was not out. I definitely recommend it and I will be back.
