Modern business emphasizes ”replicability” as the best business model, but I believe that sometimes the irreplicable aspects are the most valuable and the core reason why a company or shop can operate for a long time. For example, the unique ”human touch” of the ”Several Mountain Retreats” where we stayed this time.
This trip to Qingcheng Mountain was an ”escape” from the hustle and bustle of the city and work. We chose to come to the mountains on a weekday to avoid being disturbed, but we were also worried about being bored or lonely. ”Several Mountain Retreats” dispelled all our concerns, allowing us to truly experience the peaceful and leisurely life in the mountains.
Upon arriving at the guesthouse, the two owners, Colin and Xiaoxiao, welcomed and treated us like old friends, with just the right amount of courtesy. They responded promptly to our small needs. The guesthouse has free self-service laundry; on the first night, my boyfriend forgot to take his clothes to the dryer, and when he came downstairs, he found they were already dried. They remembered our details and prepared extra towels and cups for us. In the evenings, sitting in the courtyard enjoying the breeze and rain, they kindly asked if we wanted some fruit. When we couldn't get a taxi back after eating nearby, they even came to pick us up and ”take us home.” And so on.
Every day, the owner's handmade steamed buns and coffee were served for brunch. As a steamed bun and coffee lover, I was ecstatic!!! I usually eat steamed buns and coffee for lunch at home every day, and I never thought I could maintain my old habits even in Qingcheng Mountain. This is truly wonderful!
The cat ”Little Tiger” greeted us every day and wanted to be petted. The other cat, ”Little Tabby,” was a bit cautious, but I managed to pet him a few days later (hahaha). I'm a seasoned cat lover, so having cats makes me especially happy. And I'll always remember that night listening to the rain in the courtyard with the two cats.
The overall decor of the guesthouse was clearly thoughtful, like a secluded paradise (I even saw a blue dragonfly!). The rooms were very clean, with harmonious colors, and fresh flowers, greenery, and bergamot potted plants everywhere. Every time I stepped into a room, I quickly felt relaxed. The layout was very convenient; for example, the light switches were placed very logically, so I didn't have to walk extra distances to turn the lights on or off. Everything was disposable, so hygiene wasn't a concern. They even thoughtfully provided makeup remover wipes.
This is the longest review I've ever written—it's all about love and gratitude!! Fully charged back to work now, thanks Colin and Xiaoxiao!!!

Guest UserThis resort had put in a lot of effort in alot of small details and for people who want to rest and rejuvenate this is the best place. 小沈and 小孟had been really helpful! We did a dampness removal massage there together and have one of the best sleep ever. We also tried out the floating sound therapy and they gave us two coupons for the afternoon tea, the tofu pudding was so good. Thank you for the wonderful stay well done and keep it up.

Guest UserVisiting Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain was truly a great experience, and the hotel stay was fantastic. It's just a one-minute walk from the high-speed rail station, which is perfect for out-of-town visitors. The service was also very good; they were always ready to help with anything. The decor has a great vibe, and I imagine the owner is a cultured person. The bamboo-woven 'green mountain' at the entrance of the lobby is especially the highlight of the entire hotel. Highly recommend it! The price is also reasonable. I'll definitely choose Yue Shang Qing Xiang again if I get the chance.

Guest UserThe biggest surprise of this trip was this guesthouse; it looks even better in person than in the pictures online. There was no odd smell upon entering, the whole place was deeply cleaned, and the bathroom with its wet/dry separation was sparkling clean. The bedding smelled like it had been sun-dried. All the appliances were brand new, the air conditioning and water heater worked smoothly, and the toiletries were of good quality. The host was meticulous and the service was super attentive; they even gave a souvenir to my child when we left [happy][happy]
The guesthouse was quiet and peaceful at night, so we slept very well. The entire check-in process was smooth with no issues at all. The value for money far exceeded other accommodations at a similar price point nearby. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I will definitely book again next time I'm in the area. Genuinely five-star recommended!

Guest UserThe hotel's front desk service was excellent, and check-in was incredibly fast. They even gave us a free room upgrade to a family room! The hotel facilities are top-notch, and the pillows in the room were super comfortable. The hotel is also very close to the scenic area, just a 20-minute walk away. Plus, there's a free laundry room on the 5th floor, which is very convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time, it deserves a five-star rating!

FenggeweiwuyouOur first stop on our summer trip with the kids, and even though we only stayed one night, we absolutely adored this place! The accommodation was spotless and tidy, with a simple, Chinese-inspired Loft design that's truly perfect for families. My daughter especially loved the cozy and charming little loft space upstairs! The hotel also has a great outdoor patio area, perfect for enjoying a cold beer and a breeze in the evening. The location is fantastic too – right downstairs is a shopping street, and it's just a 10-15 minute walk to Nanqiao Bridge and Yangtianwo Plaza! This was genuinely the most comfortable and heartwarming B&B we stayed in during our whole Sichuan trip!

KennyTohVery warm, friendly, and helpful reception. Room is extremely spacious. Thanks to a complimentary upgrade, we’ve enjoyed the private hot spring (tub). The host also helped us with booking of tickets to Panda Valley. We left our luggage to visit Qingcheng Shan, and when we returned to pick them up before heading to Chengdu, we were gifted oranges and water for the ride. Breakfast is very food - the widest spread of selection amongst the many hotels and guesthouses we have stayed in Sichuan. A good base to explore Qingcheng. Highly recommended.

This place was exactly like the photos – super nice with amazing service. The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the Qingcheng Mountain entrance and the Qingcheng Railway Station. If you’re planning to hike up Qingcheng Mountain, I totally recommend staying here.
1.The room was super spacious and looked just like the pictures. Everything felt fresh, clean, and super comfy.
2.The bed was really soft, and all the amenities were modern and well thought out.
3.The staff were friendly, helpful, and just really lovely overall.
4.Great location – close to Qingcheng Station and the mountain.
5.Breakfast is included, but sadly we woke up too late to try ๆit. Next time for sure! We did have lunch there though, and it was delicious.
6.Honestly, everything was great. Totally worth every penny.

Went during a low season. The hotel was virtually empty except for us, but the staff remained professional.
The rooms were a slight letdown on a few points - BUT overall it was extremely enjoyable and downright luxurious in other areas. Overall, a definite recommend. We had a great stay and a great time.
Amazing - it's a working tea farm. We woke early to pluck tea leaves for the experience (free but worth 68 yuan) and if you collect enough you can take it to the tea master to then experience frying the tea in a wok to turn the fresh leaves into dry green tea.
The tea sachets in the rooms are made by the hotel themselves and taste great.
More free experiences are included with the stay, including tea brewing classes and wearing hanfu. I thought it to be incredibly value for money.
The private onsen is great and came with a homemade herbal pouch to throw in for a medicinal bath.
The rooms are spacious with an excellent view - and I MUST commend the incredible number of light switches which let you have any combination of light ambience.
Minor letdowns - mosquitoes will come to you at the alfresco area during mealtimes, I would sit indoors next time.
We also had to run the shower for a long while before hot water could come out.
The charging sockets are a little iffy with lots of dust in the sockets and some outlets might not be working depending on your luck. The standard sockets mostly work but USB sockets might not.
The smart W/C is also slightly malfunctioning but largely works as intended.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is conveniently located close to the ancient city, just a short walk away. However, getting around the hotel can be a bit inconvenient. The lobby is on the 4th floor, and the parking is on the -2nd floor, accessible by a different elevator. After parking, you have to take the elevator up to the 4th floor, and there's a section where you have to carry your luggage down stairs without a ramp, which isn't ideal. After checking in at the 4th-floor lobby, you then need to take another elevator to your room. If you want to leave the hotel, you first have to take an elevator to the 4th-floor lobby, and then take a different elevator from the 4th-floor lobby down to the 1st floor. This constant switching of elevators, especially if you need to go back to your car to get something, is quite cumbersome and not very practical.
