A Hidden Gem in the Danube Delta – Tradition, Art, and Warm Hospitality We had a truly memorable stay at Pensiunea Sharaiman in Dunavățu de Jos. This place perfectly blends the charm of traditional Romanian village life with comfort and style. The accommodations are beautifully decorated with hand-painted furniture and folk art, creating a cozy, authentic atmosphere. The highlight for us was the restaurant, where not only was the fish incredibly fresh and well-prepared, but the walls are also adorned with original paintings from local artists, giving the space a truly unique and cultural feel. Dining here felt like a sensory experience – delicious flavors paired with visual art and local heritage. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing – a perfect spot to unwind after boat trips through the Delta. Overall, Sharaiman is not just a place to sleep – it’s a complete Danube Delta experience: nature, tradition, art, and great food. Highly recommended!

Happy to say that we had a wonderful experience at the Sharaiman Guesthouse in Dunavatu de Jos! From the beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the general manager, Mr. Busuioc, as well as the owner of the location. The entire team was extremely friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff was always available and took care of all our needs, ensuring that we felt at home. We will definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in the Danube Delta. Thank you for everything!
