I found the staff very friendly and helpful, the evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast, they had numerous options beyond the full Scottish fry-up. Meals are in the conservatory which look out to the cliffs and sea - quite spectacular. Although the evening meal was really good, it was fully priced, I paid around £36 for 3 courses. The bar is quite cosy but they didn't have Belhaven on tap, peculiar as the brewery is just down the road. I was in a single room at the front of the hotel so had great sea views. The room was pretty small, I had to push the bed at an angle to get space to sit at the desk. The en-suite had just a shower, so do ask if you like a bath. I slept well, there was no doors banging or people running along the corridors. Looking out from my room, I could see the ground floor rooms had small patios with hut-tubs which would be attractive in the summer. Room rate for the single B&B was £85 for a Monday which I though was reasonable and would certainly go back to this hotel.
