The room was lovely but the breakfast could have been better and there was no hot water when I took a shower around 11AM…..could’ve been that everyone else already used the hot water?

It was a Lovely stay, easily accessible after hours, quite central to the town, very friendly staff, homely feel & nice breakfast. Very attractive building with lots of interior vintage & historic type design inside, would definitely stay again

This B&B is an amazing place . Amazing staff and the hospitality was great from start to finish . Breakfast was stunning .and the room was lovely and cosy . Would recommend this amazing . Will defiantly be bk down . Thanks again for having us 🌸🌸🌸

I go to Dundalk annually - and stay in GlenGat in the company of friends from around Ireland. Well fed at breakfast As always very friendly and enjoyalbe experience. Would always recommend it to others Freastal as Gaeilge - go hiontach !!! "Beidh mé arais "!

Stayed at Gen Gat from Friday (25/4/'25) to Sunday(27/4/'25). As usual Helena and Tim made us like part of the family and I really enjoyed my stay. If you are going to Dundalk and want a family experience ,I highly recomend it. Diarmuid Ó Conaill

Treasure in the heart of Dundalk. An amazing step back in time with this stunning period property. Super comfy bed and a hearty cooked breakfast made this a relaxing place to stay for a work trip. Excellent wi-fi and charming hosts with great restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend a stay here.

Owners were so friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was Brilliant,( good choice, and very tasty) the room was very clean,Top class B&B everything as it should be, and excellent breakfast. Rooms spacious, large bed very comfortable. Hosts very helpful and friendly. All tastes catered for even down to tea bags & Coffee already in the room!! Loads of information about the area, would be happy to return perfect location to walk into town
