Dunhuang Baibaili Homestay

This B&B in Mingsha Mountain truly captures the romance of the desert. 🌌 I thought desert accommodations would be just okay, but I was blown away by the backyard. The expansive space felt like a secret hideaway, completely capturing all the joy I had in Dunhuang! After a day of fun at Mingsha Mountain, come back and continue your fun in the backyard. Play in the sand right at your feet. If you're bringing kids, they can spend an entire afternoon in the sand. The best part is the backyard pool! In the evening, soak in the water and watch the desert sunset. The setting sun paints the sand a golden red, and every photo you take is cinematic. 🌇 At night, it's even more stunning! In the light-pollution-free courtyard, grab a small stool and lie back to gaze at the stars. Even your breathing slows down... The room itself is a true lover of detail!!! Smart lighting, air conditioning, and curtains respond to calls. A minibar and humidifier are also included. Coming back from a tiring day, it's incredibly comfortable to lie back. When you're not rushing, spend the whole day in the backyard. Playing in the sand, swimming, picnicking, stargazing... It turns out slow living in the desert can be so enjoyable!

The hotel is newly opened, very clean, and the decor is unique. It's located at the foot of Mingsha Mountain, just a few kilometers from both the Central and West Gates. We booked a family room, and the room photos matched the photos on Ctrip. The toiletries were all good, the air conditioning worked well, and the shower and bathroom were separate. The family room had a small balcony that connected to a small courtyard behind the folk house where children could play in the sand. There's also a swimming pool in the courtyard. The breakfast was quite extensive, with a variety of breakfast options for each person. We stayed two days and checked out late, but the owner was very easy to communicate with, making it a pleasant stay. I forgot to take a photo of the homestay, but the orange walls look great in photos.

The B&B's communal areas include a swimming pool, outdoor tents, and a library. Rooms are equipped with Aurora projection screens and Haier washing machines. Airport transfers and shuttle services to Mingsha Mountain are also provided. The pre- and post-stay service experience is also excellent.

Take the kids for a change of scenery! This B&B in Dunhuang is perfect for bringing kids. Any photo you take will turn it into a life-like portrait! 1. The rooms have a unique design, and I love the overall style. The bed in the family room is huge, and my two adults and two children slept very comfortably. The first-floor exterior view is beyond stunning, and any photo you take is a masterpiece. It feels so luxurious. The room is clean and well-lit. It's a perfect vacation for kids in Dunhuang! 2. I was initially worried about smells and other issues with the new renovations, but after arriving, I realized that this wasn't an issue at all. Full marks! 3. We arrived during dinner time, and unexpectedly, the B&B had food available. We ordered a few dishes, and they were surprisingly delicious. I recommend the fish and the big plate chicken—incredibly delicious! 4. The hotel's amenities, including amenities and appliances, are all very complete. They even have a capsule coffee machine. For someone like me who works in an office every day, daily coffee is a must! ☕️ This is truly a must-have! 💕 5. Staying here with children is hands-free; they can play in the pool and sandpit all day without leaving the house! This stay was truly wonderful. I'll be back!

This stay truly exceeded my expectations and I absolutely give it a five-star rating! From the moment I arrived at the B&B, I could feel the warmth of the staff. The front desk swiftly checked me in, and they even provided helpful tips for exploring the surrounding area. The room was incredibly clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. It felt like sinking into a cloud, and I slept incredibly soundly that night. The bathroom had a well-designed dry and wet area, with hot water running promptly. The toiletries were also high-quality and comfortable. The next day's breakfast was incredibly varied, with fresh ingredients and excellent flavor. I was completely satisfied. Upon check-out, the staff proactively asked about my stay and were incredibly friendly. Overall, this hotel was impeccable in terms of ambiance, service, and value. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The price/performance ratio is very low, and the surrounding environment is not good. There is a 400 yuan homestay next door, but this one costs 1200. I am a sucker. I can only say that it is a photo scam. I don't recommend it.
