The hotel is located outside the city of Dunhuang, in fact, I never visited the city. But it's close to the train station and to the Mogao Caves Visitor Center, which is the reason most people come to Dunhuang. The staff does not speak English but will try to help you as much as possible, with a cell phone translator.
The room was very big, I would say it was the biggest so far, very comfortable, with a view of an agricultural field. At night, if the sky is clear, you can watch the stars since there is no light pollution.
The nearest restaurant was about 600 m away, and they had to call the cook to come from home when I got there. After that I decided to dine on instant noodles. The hotel staff invited me to eat dinner with their family.
I noticed that later in the evening a bus full of tourist arrived to the hotel. Apparently that's who they cater for. Since I did not get up early, the breakfast was basically finished and cold.

The inn is very comfortable and has a good environment. The proprietress is very welcoming and the breakfast she makes is nutritious and healthy!

Parking at the B&B is very convenient, the room space is large, there are many B&Bs in the surrounding area, and it is not around the scenic spots or urban areas.
