We enjoyed one night at the Fletcher hotel in Lhee, near Dwingeloo in Drenthe. The hotel is somewhat dated but this did not spoil our stay. The hotel matched the affordable price for staying at this hotel (75 Euro for a room for two, incl. breakfast). The rooms were small but clean and breakfast offered a variety of fresh and local food/drinks. Friendly staff who were attentive, we have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to those who would like to stay in the area.

This was easily the worst hotel i have ever stayed in . I do a lot of travelling to Truck Shows all over the world and this was awful. Drab and dirty. The carpet stains were disgusting the bedrooms were so basic it was unreal and the shower would have needed cleaned before you even attempted to enter it. In need of a refub and new cleaning staff. Staff apart from the receptionist were so glum and when asked something they basically just grunted !!! Breakfast was awful. If you were not down early you got nothing. Very basic selection of breakfast and bacon looked like it had been sitting from the day before. I have nothing positive to say about this hotel except it was in lovely surroundings. Avoid it at all costs and it is way overpriced. Stayed at a hotel nearby which was way more cheaper and beautiful. Hotel ratings must be different in Holland as this was certainly not a four star hotel by any matter of means.

Clean but dark and dull hotel in need of a uplift. Comfortabel bed . Very basic. One towel each and shower gel, that's it ! No kettle or water to drink even let alone a shower cap. Poor restaurant service we had to go and ask for a drink . Poor breakfast, the fried breakfast looked unappetising and most of the sliced meat was gone so little left to choose from. Overheard staff saying it wasn't worth filling up there were only a few people to yet have breakfast. The hotel and cleaning staff (friendly)was ok but the catering staff looked miserable and couldn't be bothered. Reception staff need cheering up too . For the money we payed we expect more .

We konden maar niet inchecken terwijl velen ons voor gingen, de kamer was nog steeds niet schoon. Mijn varkenshaas was nog rauw, dit werd beaamt echter had mijn man het eten al op toen mijn bord terug kwam. Het personeel is erg warrig en je moet steeds zelf aan de receptie je bestelling doen. Wel zagen we dat ze hun uiterste best deden ! Op iedere vraag werd standaard 'nee' geantwoord. De badkamer liep onder water bij het douchen en het zwembad was erg onhygiënisch. De bedden lagen zalig ! Maar volgende x toch weer onze vertrouwde van der Valk. P.s. bij het vertrek de koffers opgetild, een onder water gelopen prut pad.

Het hotel is netjes gerenoveerd. De kamer was schoon en comfortabel. De geverfde bakstenen niet erg sfeervol maar wel een verbetering. De gang, met hard dichtslaande, geeft wel wat geluidsoverlast maar dat is bijna altijd het geval in hotels. Het ontbijt is geweldig; overdadig en van goede kwaliteit. Vriendelijk personeel. Het diner viel tegen, weinig keus voor vegetariërs. De verlichting in het restaurant is te fel.

Zeer ruime kamer met terras. De douche is aangenaam maar zorgt voor een waterballet. Het bed was erg zacht. De kussens prima! Het ontbijt was heel goed: ruime keuze en lekkere koffie. 's Avonds was het eten in het restaurant ook goed alleen de wachttijd was buitenproportioneel. Bijna een uur gewacht op een broodplank. De bediening was erg vriendelijk en dat maakt veel goed.

Mooi hotel welke in maart 2024 weer open ging, na de verbouwing / renovatie. We hadden een kamer in de nieuwe aangebouwde gedeelte met terrasje en zo'n tot 21.00 uur Inloopdouche is een gemiste kans deze is door een door nat en kost steeds 2 handdoeken om de badkamer droog te maken Verder prima bedden en erg rustig, op de buiten en kamerdeuren na die met een klap dichtslaan. Verder een goed restaurant waar door gebrek personeel de wachttijd opliep tot zelfs een uur wachten op een broodplankje met een smeerseltje.

Les chambres sont nouvelles et propres. Il manque de place devant le WC. La communication avec le personnel est difficile si on ne parle pas le néerlandais, mais ils sont très gentil. Le petit déjeuner et café très bon. Les repas au restaurant...le rapport qualité/prix n'y est pas et pas moyen de boire un apéro dans le salon quand le service diner est en cours, dommage. On est dérangé par le bruit des portes des chambres quand elles claquent. L'espace wellness est bien, mais des travaux de rénovations seraient nécessaires.
