I can honestly say both myself and my wife were over the moon with our stay at this hotel, the bar prices are very reasonable and the food was excellent as was the service, our biggest surprise was the breakfast which there is an excellent choice of and I would recommend anyone having breakfast certainly include the mushrooms which were the best both myself and my wife have tasted and we have been in numerous hotels with breakfast, the room was also excellent with the bed mattress very very comfortable, the hotel was certainly a very pleasant surprise as when we booked it was classed as a 3 star hotel? certainly should be graded more than this with my opinion a four star, should we be requiring a hotel in the area again the Pinehurst will be the one for us.

Enjoyable comfortable stay for 3 nights, rooms were basic but very clean, good strong shower. Tv with all the freeview channels, iron and board. Restaurant offered good choice of breakfast and evening meals, food was very good, bar a bit pricey. Staff very polite and attentive.

What a thoroughly great place for a bite to eat! Great location (worth the shot drive from Blackburn), Great menu which was matched with equally great food. Most of all was the service. All staff were great but the lad that was once the chef was fantastic. Mother is a bit iffy with her food (dairy and wheat intolerances) but the options for her were vast as they really cater for these issues. Probably the best choice mother has ever had at a restaurant. We all loved the food and the service. Very decent prices (for Aberdeen). Looking forward to returning soon. Many Thanks.

We had a lovely stay at the Pinehurst. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was excellent with an interesting menu. We also enjoyed sampling the great selection of whiskies at the bar.

We all really enjoyed our visit to the Pinehurst. It was really difficult choosing what to eat as the menu had fantastic choices but we were all really pleased with what we chose as it was delicious. Had a great laugh with the bar staff when paying too. Great to have some fun.

Exceptional hotel rooms are beautiful especially the two apartments. Home from home. Food is amazing as are the staff so friendly and welcoming. Could not fault anything in hotel. Lovely decorated cleanliness exceptional. If I could award more than 5* I would. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We had a really disappointed dinner. We weren’t seen to until 20 minutes after our arrival with our food not coming for an hour. We had to change our glasses 3 times as they were dirty and had severe red wine stains. When our order was taken we had asked for a few adjustments which weren’t noted down and none of them adhered to when the meal came. Some as simple as no peas or fries instead of chips. My husband’s meal didn’t come with what it had stayed with missing parts of the meal and when this was brought up there was no resolution it was just: chef is having a mare! Found the staff really inattentive and we were really disappointed with our experience.

On arrival our booking had not been registered, however we were seated quickly. The waitress took our order for drinks, and the order came back incorrect but was changed, it can happen, but when the drink was returned again I had asked for a small glass of juice for my child and was given a pint twice but let it go. We sat for a good 10 to 15 munutes so I went to the bar and asked if our food order could be taken and was asked to wait for a further 5 mins as there was a big table of around 15 that were having their orders cooked before they could put ours through, I found that strange as there was that group of 15 us and 2 other table with 2 people at each table and she asked them to wait too cut a long story short our order was finally taken and when the food came it was very disappointing, over cooked mostly and my daughters food was very greasy. I have always had lovely food and good service previously but was very disappointed today and spent 2 and a half hours for a lunch by the time we got our food and ate it. Sorry but wont be rushing back.
