Marian Resort and Spa

Went out on a Wednesday night for the first time in a lot of years. We went to the Marian resort near Prestatyn for a meal. The resort building was very elegant and modern and it made us feel very comfortable. Although it was quite quiet there was a nice atmosphere in the place. The staff were very welcoming and Luke, who was front of house manager took our order after explaining all the offers and options to us. My wife thought the service was a bit slow but I always think that is a good sign. The starter was served by a very polite young man called Grant, who made himself available to us for the rest of our visit. Food was great. I was full after two courses but Bridget had to have her sweet, which was a christmas pudding with custard. I had a taste and wished I had ordered one. Only regret was that I could not leave the staff a tip using my card for some reason and I had no cash. Will definately be going back there.

Recently this resort was given a very poor rating following a visit from the EHO. Today we visited to check the facilities in particular the kitchen. I can confidently report the kitchen is now in tip top status thanks to the new head chef and staff. I will now be attending our Christmas party with confidence. The resort is beautiful.

Had a brilliant Sunday lunch for 20 family members. Food was excellent as were the staff. Christmas decorations were beautiful

We had a fabulous Sunday roast food was very hot and plenty of it and catered for our dietary requirements ,with amazing surroundings,was all clean and tidy could not fault the staff at all,service was perfect,was well managed and nothing was to much trouble we will definitely back most enjoyable experience we had

Currently staying here in 1 bedroom Lodge. Lodge is clean and spacious we prefer a front facing lodge and have stayed her near a dozen times. We absolutely love it here the beds are so comfortable and clean. the general area its very beautiful and well kept the views are breathtaking. The food is great and tasty. leisure facilities are fab and relaxing. I honestly love coming here the cherry on top and the main reason we return is the amazing staff they are all great and will help as much as they can worth tjere weight in gold ..... the only BUT is as a couple we never get to have a hot tub lodge unless we pay for a 2 bedroom lodge with tub. You would think there would be a couple option available.

Stayed 3 nights and had a lovely relaxing time. I stayed in the hotel, the room was very comfortable and nice. There was a shower which had a rainforest head and small one as well, water pressure was amazing, kept a constant temperature and easy to use. Only thing I did think let it down was no bottled water, which I would expect. The food was really nice, recommended the seared cod fillet, one of the best meals I have had. Bars were relaxing, and lots of staff around so fast service. I only used the swimming pool, it was big enough for a good swim. This place is set in stunning countryside although the outlook from my room was a travis perkins yard!!! There were trees planted around the boundary though so not too bad. I had a problem with the tv one night when all signal was lost, someone came and sorted it out within about 10 minutes of me going to reception. All the staff are polite and helpful. If you want a relaxing time, this is the place to go.
