An excellent stay in a beautiful old pub. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bedroom was spotless and vey comfortable with lovely little extra touches like homemade biscuits and bottled water. The food was delicious and plentiful especially the breakfast. .

Perfect stop off on the way to Cornwall. Good quiet nights sleep, the church clock does strike on the hour but only heard it because I was awake. Good breakfast with pleasant service. Dropped a star for the roast dinner. It was good but could have been better. Roast potatoes not crispy and wasn't all that warm.

Another great stay. Lovely old inn with lots of character. Historic bar and restaurant downstairs, with stone flags and walls, and exposed beams. Comfortable accommodation upstairs, clean and quiet. Good food. Large adjacent car park.

This Hotel & Pub is an amazing place to stay or eat! The Rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean with a nice comfy bed for us travelers. We received a warm friendly welcome from Matt our host and his team were all very helpful and attentive. The food was nicely cooked and plenty of it. The hearty breakfast set us up for the day an excellent place to stop at 👍💕💕

I stay in the area a number of times each year for work and have struggled to find a nice hotel at a good price - this is the best I have found. It is a historic pub / restaurant with a small number of rooms upstairs. Clean and comfortable room, quiet, slept very well. Good food both in the evening and at breakfast. Car park adjacent.
