The hotel food was not of good quality and was costly. The lighting inside the room is also low. Wifi also not available cleanliness was good, geyser, room heater, kettle etc were provided.

Overall it was a good stay, the rooms were great and the view from the balcony is amazing, but the staff of the hotel seem under equipped to deal with emergency situations. We lost a room key in the night and were told that the staff did not have a spare key, and we would have to wait till 8:30 in the morning to get our room open

Pros: Hot Water Availability: Hot water was available 24x7, which was very convenient. Excellent Vegetarian Restaurant: The vegetarian restaurant at the hotel was very good, offering delicious meals. Great Location: The hotel is situated in a prime location, making it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities. Cons: Mold Issue : We encountered mold in our room. When we reported this to the manager, the response was dismissive, attributing it to Shillong's damp weather, which we found unacceptable. On being asked about it, the staff said that they dont allow outside food in the hotel, so no use of fridge. and in case, we wanted to refrigerate medicine, they could keep that in the kitchen fridge for us. Poor Service: The service was lacking. During our 3-day stay, the faulty phone in our room was never fixed, forcing us to use our mobile phones to contact the reception. Overall, our stay at Cloud Social was just okay. While there were some positive aspects, significant areas need improvement, particularly in addressing room issues and enhancing service quality.
