We were treated like royalty, Gill went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Cooking the most divine food, setting up candle light dinners, by the fire place. We would definetely recommend Woodleigh Guest lodge! Giving it 5 stars!!

I really enjoyed it. The overnight facilities and service were of outstanding quality. The hosts went out of their way to make my stay at their facility as pleasant as possible. It was an unforgettable time, and I would recommend it to anyone. Many thanks to Gill and her staff for a safe haven during my stay.

We stayed at Woodleigh Guest House for two nights. The rooms are extremely well laid out, with luxury finishes. I loved the soft pillows and abundance of cushions which had a welcoming, homely effect. We were warmly welcomed by Jill, despite having arrived later then we had arranged for. We enjoyed the complimentary tea, coffee and rusk provided in the room. It is a tranquil venue with beautiful gardens. Well worth a visit. Thank you, Jill, for your hospitality.

If you want to feel like royalty stay here. Jill and her staff cannot do enough for you. The paradise room we stayed in was brilliant with everything you need and more. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order giving you time to enjoy the cold buffet. If you want to stay in the area then do not miss this guest house it is absolutely fantastic.

Our host/chef JJ was amazing. Though we arrived late, he gave us the warmest welcome. We had a beautiful room overlooking the pool, the room was nice, warm and cozy. Our meals were delicious and they even arranged a beautiful sunset river cruise for us. If ever you are looking for a beautiful accommodation in East London, this is the place to be.

Service was average for second time breakfast was served late and we must travel to our workplace. Please stick to set time for serving breakfast other than that you place is still the best. We would love to come visit in the future
