Parking is very convenient, the front desk service is very good, there is a park nearby, and it is very close to the beach. The nearby ecology is very good, the hotel is very quiet, and I will recommend it to my friends.

Hi, This is a beautiful Motel right near the beach. It's prices are still affordable which is great as I will definitely go back. It's right at the end of street so can walk to the beach using beach access. I stayed here for a company visit Solo and have also been to the Reasteraunt separate with my family for lunch. I habe also stayed for one night with family. The only con - was load music for a wedding but the reception makes sure they turn the music down I think it was around 10pm. The service for food to the room was amazing the meals were yum I had a kids spag bog an it was enough to fill me up. Desserts were great an the kitchen staff went out of their way to make a milkshake my kids desperately asked for dessert on evening which I'm not sure they usually do at the time we arrived. As dinner was probably nearly finished one visit but they put our order in quick and was great. Breakfast van be delivered or can sit in Reasteraunt. I gor delivered an was on time and yummy. Reception was so friendly and was very helpful. This is one of my favourite motels in Mackay. So relaxing after a big day at work to go walk along the beach.. also right next to a playground for the kids an big grass area. Parking is a little squished in Motel but plenty of parking right next to Motel..

Went to the Ocean International for my mother in law's retirement luncheon on Sunday. We were super impressed with the standard of service and quality of the food. A wonderful ambience amongst a clean and tropical poolside setting. A true hidden gem of Mackay.

This hotel is a great stay. It’s next to a quiet beach. It has a pool and laundry facilities. The food is gorgeous and the breakfast pancakes are divine. The staff are super helpful and kind. The rooms are clean and spacious with a balcony over looking the greenest gardens teeming with birds. I relaxed and had the best stay.

Easy check in, good location, room was ok, could do with some TLC. Parking was a nightmare, no designated parking for guests so our car spent the whole stay on the street because car park was always full. Nice pool area, room service was good. Clean rooms and bathtub was an added bonus

Booked 4 Rooms in June for ourselves and family. The rooms were very nice and spacious and provided all the necessary items for a comfortable stay. The pool area was supposed to be completed and unfortunately it was not. We booked a table for 16 for dinner. What a disappointment. Extremely small portions and meals were coming out which had not been ordered but were accepted as it took well over an hour for food to come out. Breakfast was great with generous portions, so a big tick there. They do not offer a buffet breakfast, order off the menu. Food prices were OK apart from for example Garlic Turkish Bread at $14 Would I stay again-perhaps. Would I have dinner or lunch there again - absolutely NOT

We stayed at the Ocean International for 2 nights in room 4.1. We had a lovely view of the ocean from a choice of 2 balconies, the most comfortable bed, wonderfully tasty room service, a very spacious 1 bedroom apartment and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It will be our first choice when we travel to Mackay again.
