The rooms in the main building need renovation. The aircondition had a malfunction and we didn’t have a/c for a whole day. They didn’t say and do anything about that - nto even a bottle of wine. Very unprofessional. Breakfast was nice but we had to pay for the esspresso. Food was good and value for money. The location is quite good and close to gytheio. In general the hotel needs a renovation and a better management.

A great hotel, not to say a finely designed small village in wonderful nicely designed gardens and landscaping, a fantastic swimming pool , an acceptable beach - not really the best - a very spacious room plus a large verandah overlooking the med , the gardens and Gythion at a distance of a few kms..Breakfast rather rich but not self service, you stay in line for the 2 waitresses to serve you - why not self service ? - . Service more than professional with a great genuine smile...On the negative side, the private driveway from the main road to the hotel (500+ metres) is the worst I have seen in the recent years, as if you drive on the worst surfaced cement road. As of mid September , the restaurant is closed so apart from the bar which is open till 20,00 hours, there is nothing available, there is absolutely nothing to do, nothing to eat , with nothing around , nowhere to go if you don't have a car..You are in a fine hotel room in the wilderness. You can only watch the tiny 18 inch tv which is a shame for such a hotel... Internet connection is a disaster. They should do something about it... No room service at any time of the day or night..

Very nice hotel. Amazing food at very reasonable prices. It is worth trying the chef's kitchen at least once. You will be very happy and pay as much as you would in a tavern. His breakfast also includes fresh handmade pastries and pies and freshly squeezed orange juice. When we went there were hardly any people. We had booked a family room which was comfortable so we have no idea about the other simple rooms. But the price with only breakfast for the season was quite high I think (that's why it was empty). Also apart from the pool and the beautiful gardens, the hotel has no other facilities, courts or activities for children. The beach below is average. If it was a little more economical we would definitely go again. Best for couples.

Very good organization of the said HOTEL, kind local guys from Gytheio willing to serve us! Five star breakfast and the all cart, they also have the possibility for something special if someone wants a side dish. Well done to the cleanliness 10 stars...if I had to point out it would be the price...in the times we live in and the difficulties that exist, -20 euros down would be important I think. Look into it.

Today my wife and I thought to combine the sea with the pool and decided to visit the Aktaion Resort. We were delighted by the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff, but also by the wonderful flavors of the dishes we tried!! A real gem for the area!! We will definitely be back soon!!!
