Quality Inn & Suites Chattanooga-East Ridge

On the outside it seemed clean enough, but that hope was soon dismissed. We checked in to find out we were on the top floor and the elevator was broken. The parking only had a few cars so certainly the top floor wasn’t the only rooms available. Once in our room we found DIRTY PANTIES on the floor of our bathroom. We heard other guests complaining in the lobby about broken showers and dirty rooms. The “hot” breakfast only offered waffles as a hot option. The rest was cereal and pre-packaged pastries. The coffee was awful.

First, we had stayed at this hotel 3.5 years ago, and it was great. Right off the interstate, lots of restaurants, good rate. I used my points this time. We got to the front desk around 4, and called the front desk number as instructed. No answer. The cordless phone was in its dock. I was able to go into the offices (to check for murdered or wounded) and all was deserted. My husband went in search of someone, anyone to check us in. After about 20 mins, a gentleman showed up, mumbled something about "fixing the...mumbled...." and offered no apology. The hotel was almost completely deserted, but for the possibly homeless lady harassing anyone using the back door. She even bummed a slice of pizza from one nice lady. There was a broken water main at the back of the hotel and an entire hallway filled with old plumbing fixtures. Everything is shabby and dinged up. Glad we brought our own food for breakfast.

Oh My, was under a block of rooms for a convention. They had hard time understanding English, finding the reservation. Had to have sheets changed 1st night - dirty. Curtains would not open or close - used safety pin to close. Cards for room had to updated everywhere day (3 out of 5). Curtains has wholes; quilted bed linens had wholes in it. They did change towels everyday. Breakfast small small muffins, cereal somewhat stale. Won't stay again. Asked for luggage rack as was 3 if us - nope thought we wanted rags

This was an old style motel that has been remodeled. Very strong chemical odor but clean. Pool not open. Breakfast was a bit more than standard continental breakfast but not a hot breakfast. Microwave and small refrigerator in the room. No frills.

Truly one of the most filthy, disgusting experiences I have ever had. My car broke down in Chattanooga on my way from Atlanta to Nashville and I had to spend the night and this hotel was close to the place I was having my car fixed so I stayed here. The room was falling apart, it was dirty, stained, smelly, and crawling with roaches (see pictures). The management did not care. AWFUL!!!

I checked in and sat down at the desk to go over my emails and a roach crawled up on the table. I went to the front desk and told the guy working there and before I could tell him I wanted another room he said “all I can do is change your room” I said that was fine. The next room I got had dirt on the curtains, the carpet had not been vacuumed and while I was watching tv a bug crawled down the wall. It wasn’t a roach just some random bug.
