Stylish decoration with lots of regional objects, excellent meals next to a fire place, profesionnel and very friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms (hot water bottle for the bed at night!) surrounded by a big and lush garden with flowers, vegetables and fruit trees. We‘ll come back!

This is a brilliant place with lovely people. We were treated to a great experience of authentic local cooking, all with home grown ingredients. Bhawana is a great is a great host and her team made us a wonderful lunch - we were able to join in the preparation so we knew it was completely fresh. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Perfect place to end our travels in the North East of India. Hosts were hospitable and warm. It doesn’t get much better than cozy evening in front of a crackling fire with a homemade kiwi wine. Breakfast and dinners were exceptional, highlighting produce grown in the hotel garden. The nettle soup and potato curry were a highlight.

Beautiful, quiet retreat in Rumtek with its own organic garden and lovely meals prepared with their own vegetables. Delightful staff! And a beautiful meditation room upstairs. Definitely recommend for a tranquil stay. Just a shirt drive from here to the inspiring, historic monastery.

A beautiful oase of beauty and peace. A great staff and delicious food! Everything is at hand: cosy rooms, a beautiful garden, a warm fireplace in december. On a return trip to Sikkim I would definitively revisit. The staff did everything to make you feel at home. My go to pace in Rumtek

The most exhilarating, zen moment place to live/stay. The staff and the manager are so much helpful and above all treat you like own family. The dishes that get cooked are out of place as they pick ingredients from their own property garden. The whole place is on a steep hill so get your trekking shoes. I came for 1 night and ended up staying for a week. I shall repeat a million times again as there is so much to explore just in this property....

Excellent warm hospitality and serenic beauty ...... It felt like a home away from home....... The mesmerizing view of gangtok at night and amazing view of Himalayan ranges at day from the balcony....Thanku for a wonderful experience...worth every penny.....

The Bamboo Resort is one of the best places to stay in Sikkim. It’s far from the maddening crowds, so serene and peaceful. Sunita and all the staff at the resort are extremely friendly and accommodating. I would call this beautiful resort, “ God’s Country.”
