Langham Hotel Eastbourne

Wonderful as always, staff amazing, rooms are lovely, and the food outstanding, would never stay anywhere else in Eastbourne. It’s lovely to stay somewhere where you get good service, an excellent seaside hotel. Location is great, Eastbourne is my birth town and a place where I grew up, it’s lovely to stay at a hotel that’s maintained it’s original glory of a seaside hotel, highly recommended.

Yesterday we went to lunch with friends at The Langham to celebrate VE Day. From arriving to see the dining room tastefully decorated for the occasion and a delicious meal served efficiently by excellent staff, the whole occasion was happy and memorable. We were entertained by Duality, a local husband and wife singing duo, who were excellent and led us in war time songs that were perfect for the occasion.

Just spent 4 days with a Tour group at The Langham Hotel, we were unfortunate to miss the warm weather of the previous week, but it was dry and sunny some of the time with a chill breeze! The hotel was comfortable,clean and well run. We had requested a room with walk-in shower which was great with enormous fluffy bath sheet towels. Food was excellent, and generous portions with several choices, if you have dietary restrictions they will be provided, All the staff were helpful and friendly and there was entertainment on 2 nights which was very pleasant! We visited Hastings on the local bus, Beachy Head with the Tourist bus and Sovereign Harbour Marina a short taxi ride away! We shall certainly return again!

Just returned from another visit to Langham and pleased to report a wonderful stay. We have now been holidaying at this hotel for some 13 years during which the standards have maintained an incredible high level showing the consistency of the training of new staff. The welcome at reception is as always polite and efficient The cleanliness is something to behold the staff are excellent in approach and therefore produce all you would hope for . The only difference we spotted this time was the menu on offer for the DBB tariffs, the food was even better than before ,a great choice of dishes to satisfy any requirements . I would like to thank Neil and Wendy and all the staff for making our stay so special, see you soon .

An excellent and characterful hotel with friendly and super efficient staff. The room - although 'inland' - was lovely and the bar area very swish and stylish. BUT - THE FOOD was beyond excellent!! Portion sizes and quality of preparation and choice was far superior to many hotels we have stayed in previously - thank you! And we were on a coach tour - so obviously no different treatment for us... An ideally situated Hotel for sea views, paddling and shopping, too.- well worth booking....
