2-Star Hotels in Eau Claire

I booked this hotel with very low expectations as the rate was only $40. After a 15 hour day of driving from Regina, SK Canada, I was pleasantly greeted by the front desk staff. Although it is very much a no frills hotel, it more then served me well with a good nights sleep, friendly service and an excellent cup of coffee in the morning. This may not be the most ideal location for people expecting lots of amenities, however, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this location to a traveller just looking for a spot to catch some rest after a long day of driving.

The location of this BW is great. The UWEC campus is only a few blocks away. The Chippewa River Bike Trail is one block away. You can take the trail into the city along the Chippewa River or head out into the countryside. The BW was quiet, beds very comfortable and staff friendly and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

OK, it is worth staying

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Bunch of restaurants around area , lot of food options in just walking distance. We had great stay . Breakfast was delicious in rhe morning. Had small issue with rv remote but staff has fixed it quickly. I would recommend to everyone

This is an ordinary motel. It was a good place for a good night of sleep. The breakfast is satisfactory. When I got into my room, the TV (Direct TV) would not work. The desk was able to get access to the Direct TV and it worked fine. If the price is right I would happily stay here again.

We stayed here in 2020 and were really impressed with the value for the rate, so first choice on our stay this year.(2022) Rate was so reasonable, that we upgraded to fireplace hot tub room for not a lot of money. Awesome front staff (Lolly), and very clean room. Highly recommended. Please keep rate so reasonable!
