We came in to town for a funeral from South Carolina, we needed one night to stay. I usually read reviews but we were tired and Eden being a small town I didn't expect our room to be the way it was. After we got unpacked and inside we found dead baby roaches laying everywhere we decided that we just would not go barefoot we were tired ready to go to bed. I itched during the night didn't realize until the next morning when I looked on my neck and shoulders that I had bite marks all over me. I found dead bed bugs which I'm sure there was some live ones and that's what bit me. We decided to check the room over and make pictures and the bed skirt we lived it up and the box springs mattress had mold all in it. The tub had purple stuff all over it that would not come off We even joked was it luminol. We decided to let the manager know and she told us that we were liars that they had checked all the rooms and there were nothing like that in any of their rooms. The maintenance guy we talked to him and he said yes we've had a problem with bed bugs but we really been on it trying to get rid of them. It would have been nice to know that before we went in. The manager said we would not be getting any of our money back because they were not at fault we were lying. This place is horrible if you don't believe it read all the other reviews if I had read them we'd have never been in this situation. The sheets had cigarette burns and the bedspread also The pillows were nasty. It would not go through without me giving it at least a one or I wouldn't have given it anything

We know that the A/C sure was ice cold ❄️ but the only problem for me being disabled is that the Toilet Seats were very low. We ate at some great restaurants as well as my family and me had Papa John’s delivered to us on Sunday October 30th night!
