When you open the hotel window, you can see the castle, and below is Edinburgh's garden fountain. The room is very new and has complete facilities. It will feel a little far to drag your luggage back from Aibo Railway Station. There is another Premier Inn hotel slightly closer to the train station. But the unexpected bonus is that it is very close to the rural village of Dean, and it takes 10-13 minutes to walk there through navigation. Stayed 2 nights in total. Most of the guests here are local British citizens, and I have never met any Chinese.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right on Princes Street. When you look up, you can see Edinburgh Castle. It is only a 5-minute walk away. It is the junction of the old and new towns. The hotel environment is good, but the cleaning service can't keep up. No one cleaned up after staying for two days.

Convenient transportation and easy access to various attractions. It is a relatively cost-effective hotel.

The location of the hotel is okay, the lighting in the room is very dark, there is a small piece of glass in the corner that cannot be opened, so there are almost no windows, the hotel has two price options for breakfast, the breakfast sold at the front desk (9 pounds) can only eat bread + drinks, other categories cannot be selected

I booked 6 hotels in the UK this time. This one is the one I am most satisfied with. The location is excellent, just on Princes Street, and it is easy to find. The breakfast provided by the hotel is an authentic English breakfast, which is very rich and tastes good ,recommend.

10/10 service from Lauren! I cannot thank Lauren enough for her incredible kindness and support during my stay at the Premier Inn Edinburgh City Centre (Princes Street). I unexpectedly found myself in an emergency situation feeling unwell, and she went above and beyond to help me. Her care, professionalism, and genuine concern made such a difference, and I felt truly looked after. Throughout my entire stay, Lauren continued to check in and ensure we were okay and happy. Her warmth and dedication to excellent service were evident in everything she did. It’s rare to come across someone so passionate about their role, and she is a true asset to this hotel. Because of Lauren, I would highly recommend this Premier Inn to anyone visiting Edinburgh. She made what could have been a difficult experience so much easier, and I will always be grateful for her help. Thank you, Lauren – you are amazing!

Stayed in room 415 for three nights, with breakfast. The hotels location cannot be faulted, bang in the centre of all the main attractions, you can be anywhere within a 15 minute walk. We were blessed with the weather too so did not mind getting around on foot. The breakfast was simple but what you expect from premier inn. So did not mind the price paid for this. What has brought an average score unfortunately is the price paid. We opted for a premier plus room with views of the castle. I would advise others to ensure they do not get room 415 as there isn’t exactly a window central, there is two tiny sections of window opposite ends of the room, it’s not like you can admire the view for long. Also the soundproofing was awful, the tram runs from 6am until nearly midnight which makes sleeping difficult. Room advertised air conditioning but only goes down to 17c at a slow rate making the room hot and stuffy, I don’t think it would be suitable in summer. We probably would stay again if we found a cheap deal, but wouldn’t say the stay was worth the £500 paid for a 3 night stay with similar priced hotels nearby.
