Popular Edinburgh 4-star Hotels

A good choice for this hotel. It has the best location ever in a famous city like Edinburg with walking distance to basically everywhere you had wanted to visit. Good and complete services/facilities from the hotel. Storage locker with safe number-lock provided in the room for keeping you big luggage. Capsule bed is good and spacey with lighting provided. Get a mini-portable fan from the reception if still feeling hot in the night. Cleanliness was acceptable and good services with good breakfast at affordable costs. The best thing to do everyday when you are staying in this hotel is to do nothing but just sit on the bench outside the hotel and look at the famous church, buildings and peoples walking around you.

We stayed at Wilde just before New Year and we were not disappointed. The location is fantastic. Just behind the castle and around the corner from Grassmarket. The staff were fantastic, from the minute we arrived till the minute we checked out. Nothing is an issue to them. The apartment was both modern and well equipped. I would definitely return, but would get a room on the 1st floor. As the lower rooms you can hear people above moving furniture etc. Not the company's fault, just inconsiderate guests that you can't choose!

This hotel was great! Location was very good, close to main tourist attractions like the Royal Mile and close to major bus routes if you don’t feel like walking. The room felt very spacious and comfortable. It’s near great Chinese restaurants that someone who lives in China appreciates as the restaurants are run by Chinese people and the food tastes authentic and delicious. They also sell their own gin that is made on site and the gin is really good! If you like gin, try their 1505 and then buy a bottle. Very worth it!

I stayed second time in Yotel Edinburgh during my trip in Scotland since I wanted to be Edinburg the first and last night when I returned to London. Yotel is a nice hotel with location right in the downtown and good for me since I took bus in and out Edinburgh airport, but not perfect location if travelers take train.

Good location but noisy on street side and no aircon in the room, so stuffy with window closed We had various minor service and facility issues, which we have communicated to the hotel itself. The hotel is in need of refurbishment and a service upgrade

Comfortable room good service and there is one sweet lady staff made my day. She is patience listening what I have been thru and gave me a complimentary breakfast. I would like to thank her but I forgot to look at her name tag, when I check out she was off duty. Not sure is she Kajo. Other staffs are friendly as well.

Room is small (same as what was posted online) but a 32” luggage cannot be opened fully. minimal walking space in the room. Not much table space for work, location is abit far off. Didnt realise the 'distance' while booking. Lovely view from room - sneek peak of Arthur Seat, woke up with birds chirpping, pretty relaxing No aircon in the room, so need to open the window for ventilation Bathroom is small, water takes sometime to be hot and water will splash out on the floor. There was water leakage from the corner of the glass panel, which made a puddle of water after each shower. Front desk and bar service was fantastic, very friendly folks.

Awful hotel that is definitely not 4* and the service is not at Hilton level at all…. The hotel goes under the renovation and there were only 2 lifts with queues and they are also used by the staff too We had a room for 3 people and had all set up for two people only, the room was dirty with hair in the shower and the ceiling. When I took the shower the pipe was blocked and the water started to leak to the bathroom… yes they sorted the problem quite quickly but still was not great experience There were no slippers and bathrobes. I asked for x3 slippers and they brought only one pair. I asked again and they brought only one pair again. On the third time they brought two pairs…. When I asked for 3!!! And still no bathrobes. We asked for additional blanket and it was in a random location after the room was cleaned. The room was cleaned badly on the next day we stayed. My pajamas was thrown elsewhere and I found it on the table, the towels we put on the floor to be replaced were fold dirty on the shelves… the blanket was in a random location and the cleaner did not pay any attention at all left the room dirty. Very disrespectful I felt that I had to beg for the things we are supposed to get in this kind of hotels. Shocking!!! Yes they compensated with a complimentary breakfast which was good but still the service was bad. They sent the cleaner and by the time she came we were already sleeping. Convenient for travel, the train station is just opposite. The room is clean and tidy, the equipment is relatively new, and the overall cost performance is high.

Is very convenient for first timer in Edinburgh especially helping children to get ready on their university. Near tram/bus station to travel to city. A day ticket fixes everything. Supermarkets like Home Bargain, Aldi and Tesco are nearby to buy the household stuff. 20 mins from Airport very convenient.
