Hotels near Royal Mile, Edinburgh

During the days of wandering abroad, I went back and forth looking for a suitable place and wanted to return to my country. The hotel is nice, the environment is very good, suitable for a short stay, can be recommended

Awful hotel that is definitely not 4* and the service is not at Hilton level at all…. The hotel goes under the renovation and there were only 2 lifts with queues and they are also used by the staff too We had a room for 3 people and had all set up for two people only, the room was dirty with hair in the shower and the ceiling. When I took the shower the pipe was blocked and the water started to leak to the bathroom… yes they sorted the problem quite quickly but still was not great experience There were no slippers and bathrobes. I asked for x3 slippers and they brought only one pair. I asked again and they brought only one pair again. On the third time they brought two pairs…. When I asked for 3!!! And still no bathrobes. We asked for additional blanket and it was in a random location after the room was cleaned. The room was cleaned badly on the next day we stayed. My pajamas was thrown elsewhere and I found it on the table, the towels we put on the floor to be replaced were fold dirty on the shelves… the blanket was in a random location and the cleaner did not pay any attention at all left the room dirty. Very disrespectful I felt that I had to beg for the things we are supposed to get in this kind of hotels. Shocking!!! Yes they compensated with a complimentary breakfast which was good but still the service was bad. They sent the cleaner and by the time she came we were already sleeping. Overall it is quite nice. Very good privacy with the curtains seperating each pod from outside and decent amount of storage space. The bathrooms are also okay. The location is also in the middle of the touristy royal mile but it wont be noisy. Reasonable and good price for solo travellers!

Comfortable room good service and there is one sweet lady staff made my day. She is patience listening what I have been thru and gave me a complimentary breakfast. I would like to thank her but I forgot to look at her name tag, when I check out she was off duty. Not sure is she Kajo. Other staffs are friendly as well.

The location was great for sightseeing. Although we had booked a twin room we actually had 4 beds. The room was clean & warm.  One lift wasn’t working but the other was quick & efficient.  The bar was good during the day but quite noisy at night & into the early hours.  We liked being able to use the luggage store.  I noticed there was a laundry which we didn’t need to use but I feel this is a good facility.

It was nice location clean and cozy , but atleast tgey should provide towel for free and as well lock they can take some security for that but they should provide this for free

The. Room is to hoot no AC To much shower head Toilet flashing point cover toilet cover by lead In web site never give you clear clarification about the service When I book it it show me with breakfast When I reach the place something different I don’t think it deserve to pay this much I am really sorry I am not see it again

A pleasant stay. Hotel room clean and tidy as was reception and dining. Staff were friendly though housekeeping was slow and had not cleaned my room when I was out for the day, so I returned to an unmade room. Because I’d travelled the night before, after a morning and early afternoon out, I wanted daytime rest and housekeeping walked in on me when I was taking a short nap late afternoon. Said they’d be back in an hour but when they came in I was showering so the room didn’t get made up as they were now going off duty. Offered to replenish my coffee, so at least made a gesture. Otherwise a pleasant stay. Nicely located in the heart of the city just minutes away from local attractions, the ferris wheel and the train station.

Great experience, big room(luckily we got a high level room#530),delicious breakfast,nice staff especially Ryan, Sam,and a generous boy with long hair (sorry I forgot his name),strong recommendation!

Heeton Concept aparthotel is a little gem and a great value for money. The apartment had all the amenities needed, a comfortable bed. It is close to Princess street and to all the restaurants and bars. The staff are amazing and helpful. Well recommended.
