Moore House Inn & Cabins

Very comfortable and clean room. Stayed here while visiting snowshoe and it was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful and there are a few shops close by. The drive from the resort wasn’t too long and the price of the room was very reasonable.

A good solid place to stay. Clean and in a charming location. Very motorcycle touring friendly: The driveway includes a short wooden bridge over a creek, and an excellent traction ***** was installed in the center. Breakfast was basic self-service, but very adequate. The bathroom was a little small but big enough. Nice porches to hang out on. The only negative I noticed was a little wood smoke in our room. If you have asthma or other respiratory issues it could be a serious problem. The house and its hot water are heated with a wood-fired boiler.

We enjoyed our time at Moore House Inn & Cabin very much. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was as cozy as could be and very clean and comfortable. A great place to just relax and enjoy even though we had a lot of work to do while there. Evenings were the best when the little fireplace in the corner was turned on. We would highly recommend Moore House for anyone looking to get away for a little while. The owners are very kind and communicative and make your stay very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin! They were so peaceful, set off the beaten path in at the edge of the woods, it was so quiet and relaxing. The owners were there to greet us when we arrived and they showed us to our room, welcoming us and giving me pointers about were to eat. Our room was spacious and spotless clean and the beds were soft and comfortable as well with pleanty of heavy blankets to keep me snug all night. The shower was hot and the water pressure was great and they provided pleanty of soap and shampoo for two of us. In the morning I went down stairs and had some of the delicious breakfast provided. They had a full kitchen so you could cook anything your heart desires which was nice cause I had been eating fast food all week. This place was great and I will definitely be back next time I am in town!!

Our Room was amazing Comfortable Bed Very Clean nice Balcony overlooking the Beautiful Nature . Fall Colors It was so nice meeting Calle(owner). We definitely will return again so Peaceful and Beautiful area We will definitely refer our friends and family to stay there

We stayed while in the area for the Cass Scenic Railroad. The Moore house was the right choice. Quiet mountain setting but convenient to the main road. Clean and warm, we were there on a chilly night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again.
