spacious rooms. overall impression, a little older interior with nice touchups nice location. nice hotel. price in comparison with the rooms and hotel was good . the bathroom could have a refurbishment. very friendly staff and good breakfast

A really great hotel in a stunning location. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are well sized and contain all you would expect plus a fridge, which we found really helpful. The sauna and swimming pool were easy to access and the reception were happy to offer you new towels so you don’t have to use the ones from your room. We stayed for breakfast which is a fair price. There was a lot of variety and you could go up as many times as you pleased. We stayed in a different hotel every night of our 6 day road trip and this one really was the highlight.

A lovely hotel in a very charming and quiet environment. 15mns drive from Groningen and Assen. The rooms are very decent and well-organized...Top cleanliness and friendly service...We will be back next year ! :))

18uur gereserveerd en het is al aardig bezet in het restaurant van Fletcher Paterswolde. We gaan voor het raam zitten. Het gaat rustig aan hier en vriendelijke bediening. Het voorgerecht een salade gewoon lekker die met geitenkaas was erg lekker. Mijn fish met chips was goed en Martin had Sate. Natuurlijk het nagerecht is altijd top lekker die advocaat bij het ijs. Koffie maakt het af!

Om 13.30 gereserveerd voor een high tea. Op het terras zaten 2 dames al een half uur te wachten op hun high tea dus we waren benieuwd. Uiteindelijk om 14.30 de bordjes, na 10 minuten theeglazen. Na bijna een kwartier de etagere met de hapjes. Maar eh..... high TEA! Drie keer vragen om theewater en glaasje koud water. De eerste hapjes waren al op voor het theewater kwam. En nog geen koud water, dat moesten we weer melden. De hapjes... veel kant en klaar en vis (garnalen) terwijl expliciet was vermeld 1x geen vis. Het was gezellig maar vind het niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wij hadden comfortkamer nr.220. We schrokken van de enorm vieze vloerbedekking de beschadigde deuren en afgebladerde radiator in de badkamer. Ook wanneer wij het raam openden kwam er veel viezigheid tevoorschijn. Al met al geen 4 sterren waardig.

Vandaag hadden we hier een bijeenkomst met lunch de lunch was waardeloos ik heb 2x het eten terug gestuurd eerst een koude uitsmijter daar na hand louw van buiten en koud van binnen het leek wel of ze het ei hadden opgewarmd de 3e x eindelijk een eetbare uitsmijter maar niet top de chef-kok van hun had mij ook een slechte beoordelingen gegeven ik werkte toen met mensen met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt aan tafel had ik gevraagd of alles naar wens was en dat was zo de volgendedag stond er dat de biefstuk drog en taai was dus voor mensen met afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt steld hij hogere eisen dan aan zijn eigen tieme

Mixed beeld bij dit hotel: - kamer erg gedateerd. We hadden een familiekamer en hier kun je echt geen 200,- voor vragen: tapijt is kapot, sprei vies, gaten in de muur, muur zeker nietbwir, gordijnen zijn te klein waardoor een deel van het raam niet bedekt is door het gordijn, gordijnen hangen scheef, geen nachtlampje/nachtkastje, badkamer nog met douchegordijn, plafond kapot, ratjetoe aan diverse lapmiddelen in de kamer… - ontbijtzaal prettig en redelijk gevarieerd ontbijt - klein maar prima zwembad
