If the location works for you, it’s ok. The room we had smelled of cleaner and mold, not a great combination. There is a good amount of room but no lift, making access a challenge above the EG. Breakfast is good if you are early but after the business traveler rush, things were rather thin. The dining hall itself is decorated similar to the Wartburg which was cool. The location was very close to where we needed to be each day so that is really the only reason to consider returning. There are nicer places for same or less money.

Keine 4 Sterne wert. Gefühlt ist das ein Raucherhotel. Selbst in der Gemeinschaftsküche darf und wird geraucht. So wie in Vergangenheit in den Zimmern. Viele riechen müffelig und nach Rauch. Passend dazu der braune gelbliche Farbstich des Warm Wassers, der immer wieder plötzlich Auftritt. Ich vermisse viele Dinge wie die angegebene Sauna. Egal war mir, dass es keinen Lift gibt und dass das Essen im Restaurant nicht zu empfehlen ist. Meine Entenbrust war viel zu wenig und hat mich an Bofrost erinnert. Das Hotel gehört gefühlt in 2 Sterne kategorisiert

Kurzfristiger Einsatz in Eisenach. Wo wohnen? In einem der Buchungsportale stand „Land- und Golfhotel Alte Fliegerschule“. Die Architektur typisch Deutsches Reich. Gebucht. Der Name haut ganz schön einen raus …! Bei Ankunft Zweifel. Die Zweifel sind dann aber recht schnell gewichen. Im Wesentlichen zwei Gebäude. Eines zum Schlafen. Im Anderen Rezeption und Gastronomie. Dies war früher tatsächlich eine Einrichtung, an der junge Piloten für ihren Einsatz ausgebildet wurden. Das Personal sehr freundlich und bei der Bierauswahl fachkundig. Im Restaurant sitzt man in einer interessanten Halle, die durchaus einen gewissen historischen Charme versprüht. Alles wirkt aufgeräumt und sauber. Das Mobiliar wirkt teilweise aber wie direkt vom Reichsluftfahrt Ministerium übernommen. Per Saldo auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Ich hatte den ganzen Tag rostiges Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn und der Dusche natürlich so macht eine Übernachtung kein Spaß denn ein wenig Körperpflege gehört dazu….. Ein anderes Thema konnte ich leider nicht bekommen man meinte es ist das gleiche Wasser Daher leider nur zwei von fünf Sternen
