"This is a good place. We have been living with my wife for three years. This time they have done a good renovation. There is not much room for the old hotel. Of course the price has risen. Overall it has become a lot colder. What we are not happy about is the price increase in the spa, so we did not go there and the hotel is very chic)"
"The room is too cost-effective, the house is clean and tidy, the layout is reasonable, the living environment is quiet and the air is fresh, the breakfast included is quite good, the bus + Google Maps is convenient, the clerk is particularly patient to answer questions, and also specially help us with an extra bed, you can pay in euro dollars visa very convenient. Full score, I will definitely stay here next time I come to Barcelona, because other places are quite expensive."

"This ihg Holiday Inn Express is a close one to the city of Barcelona, so there are many people bringing children on weekends. Compared with other similar hotels, breakfast is slightly worse. Opposite the hotel is a big supermarket, convenient for shopping."

"Very new hotel, the room is big enough, the front desk is very friendly, in a small town near Barcelona, not far from the airport, relatively safe and quiet area, opposite is Barcelona's training ground, but you can't get in, opposite is a small supermarket, can meet some small daily needs, there is also a breakfast shop, overall very satisfied, we booked a king room with an extra bed, the extra bed is also very comfortable, except far from the city, everything else is perfect, no slippers are provided, remember to bring your own"
"We stood many times in this lovely hotel and we can simply say that all was good like usual.
The staff was also very nice , always present for any required assistance,. Appreciated! 👍🏻"

Great
KKimmyg43I had high hopes for this ”4star hotel”
From the pictures and the previous reviews everything seemed like it was too good to be true...
Arrival was average, had to ask which way to go to get to my allocated room (normally you are directed by a member of reception atleast)
Arrived at my room (104) 1st floor.
Opened the door to a bright airy room..my first thoughts were this is lovely.
Dropped my bags and took a shower and that's where things started to go downhill...let me explain...
Now I am aware this is not 5 star but if im being totally honest I have stayed in cleaner 2 star hotels...
The attention to detail from the cleaners is just way below par for a 4 star establishment.
Shower door covered in limescale (easy to put right with a bit of Elbow grease)
Mold and nasties around the outer edge of the shower door (see pics)
Splash marks all over the tiles at the side of the sink (like old toothpaste marks)
Sink wouldn't drain properly (seemed to be blocked)
Skirting boards definitely hadn't been given a wipe for a good few weeks/months
All standard/basic stuff that you would expect from any hotel and certainly from a 4 star one or am I being picky?
Then there was the call to reception to ask for some milk so I could make a coffee (kettle is provided in room)
Receptionist said they don't have fresh milk only 'powdered sachets' of the most vile tasting milk I've ever had (think baby milk/gone off normal milk)
Apparently the restaurant was closed so they could not access it to get some fresh milk?
Receptionist advised me to go to the supermarket..which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel 🤦♀️
As it happens there is a coffee machine outside the reception entrance so I found myself nipping downstairs to buy one from there. (Not the most convenient but we move forward)
I had read that there was a rooftop restaurant in the flyer as advertised but when I asked about it apparently it is no longer there?
The restaurant is only open at breakfast times so no food is available not even snacks? However they advertise room service so unsure how that works?
Outdoor pools closed which is fine but you couldn't even sit on the loungers hence....nowhere to sit outside the hotel itself.
Such a shame that all these little things build and in turn let it down as a 4 star advertised hotel.
Now for the positives...
The view from the room of the sea is beautiful
It is literally across the road from miles of sandy beaches
There are a couple of lovely restaurants nearby that are open from 12 noon for brunch/dinner and reasonably priced.
The area itself is super quiet and feels safe enough as a solo traveller.
ММарияWe came to check in. It was 9 am, obviously check in was until 2 pm. They gave us our passports so we could register, and we would be arriving at 2 am to check in.
The girl refused to register us.
We arrived at the hotel at 2 pm. This girl had just started registering us. She said - and there was also a tax of €12.3. Ok. We gave €100.
She said - we don't have change. We said - change it, we'll come and pay when we have change.
Naturally, she says - I won't give you the key until you pay the tax, go and change it yourself (in another country, it's not clear where, with backpacks, still not in the room)
If she had registered us (not checked us in, but just written out the documents) when we arrived, while we were walking to the city, maybe we would have changed it there, but she was too lazy, let me remind you.
Now the real crux is brewing.
She says - ok, pay by card. We say - your Russian card doesn't work. She tries. It really doesn't work.
She says - ok, change it, bring it later.
Okay, it would seem we've agreed on something. But...
She takes the card and starts rewriting its details. And on the card there is both the expiration date and the back digits.
Our stay is fully paid. We are also ready to pay for the tax. But she doesn't have change.
And she just brazenly rewrites the card details. Without even asking.
I couldn't stand it anymore. I took the room key myself, took the card and we left.
In the end, we exchanged the money ourselves and paid.
The best: even if you live for 1 day, even for a month - they will only give you water on the first day. Then die of thirst.
LLunakoI stayed at this hotel near the airport for one night because my flight arrived late. The front desk was friendly. Although it was a paid service, there was a minibar in the room, which was very helpful for me as I had forgotten to buy water. The room was clean and comfortable.
GGuest UserThe hotel was good overall, comfortable beds and good breakfast. There were 2 things I didn't like at all. 1. The bathroom had a very unpleasant smell when I checked in. I had to put on perfume to be able to tolerate the smell. It smelled like someone had pooped a lot a few minutes ago. The second is that the bus service from the airport to the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The first time I stayed at the hotel I waited 20 minutes for the bus (it arrived 20 minutes later than the timetable on the website for t.1) and the second time I waited 45 minutes (also, 45 minutes after the time indicated for t.2). To top it off I tried to call the hotel at least 30 times without success, it said unavailable all the time.
GGuest UserService was rather poor. We didn’t get wifi until the second day of the stay. First day they said maintenance would fix it but they did not. The breakfast was nothing incredible. Pretty basic but not worth 16 euros in my opinion. We also did not get towels until the second day. Overall it’s a decent stay. Close to a mall, bus stop and a couple fast food places. Easy to locate and about an hour and a half by public transport to the center.
Rricky mugwagwaThe hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very clean and of a high standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My flight was delayed so I arrived at 2am in the morning and the staff were very helpful. It is slightly outside the centre of Barcelona but that does mean it is in a quiet location.
Selamlar.
SSACHIAlthough it is a little far from the center, everything is within 30 minutes by subway, so it was nice to be able to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are no supermarkets, bakery cafes, or restaurants nearby, so it is better to have dinner in the city. The staff are all warm and welcoming. Cleaning was done every day, but at 9:30 they knocked on the door and said they wanted to clean. There was a bus right in front of the hotel to get to the airport on the way back, so it was very convenient.
BBrett KhoStayed in this hotel since it was fairly near the airport for a flight the next day. The pictures are fairly accurate and was appreciative about how quiet it was that night at least. I hope that air conditioning systems can be improved
TTanGood location for access to the airport. However, if you are taking the L77 bus, be aware that you have to cross an overhead bridge across an expressway. If you don't have any luggages, you can use the sandy pebble path just next to the expressway which will lead you to the main entrance. If you have to pull luggages, there's a better path after you cross the overhead bridge. Just turn left at the top of the bridge, go straight to the end, turn left, go straight to the end of the road and on the left side, there's a small hidden metal door where you have to press a button on the left side to gain access to the campsite. Also, the bus L77 from the airport has two routes, One going to Gavà and another one going to town. Don't take the wrong bus. You should take the one going to Gavà for the campsite. Bus journey is only 1 stop and about 3-4mins.After you alight at the expressway bus stop, the walk is about 4-5mins to the campsite. The Victoria tent was very cramp for 5 people. Have to squeeze. The toilet shower drainage is very slow. Water will puddle up when you shower. However, it's a nice camping experience for us. WiFi intermittent. Sometimes ok, sometimes can't connect. The on site restaurant is nice and the campsite is just next to the beach. Staffs are friendly and polite. Recommended if you need a night or two and a location close to the airport.
