We were traveling with our 6 year old twins and our adult kids, and everyone enjoyed this hotel. The hotel is so pretty, and the rooms are well decorated, clean and spacious. We stayed in the Blue Room and enjoyed everything about it. We had a balcony with a hammock, which was perfect for afternoon naps and watching the sunrise or sunset. Important things to point out, the pool was great, it was clean and had an amazing view of the ocean, the AC worked fabulous, hot water was on point (not all hotels in ES have hot water), food was delicious and beds were very comfortable. The staff was also great. Perfect hotel for couples or families. We’ll definitely be returning whenever we come to El Cuco.

The ocean view is spectacular. However, the restaurant lacks variety and faster service. Staff needs basic hospitality training, although their intentions are good. Forgetting my kid’s food order more than once is unacceptable as is sweeping loudly outside of my room before 7am. That’s not the oasis I was looking for while on vacation. The place needs more pest control in rooms. Having flying ants swarming in room did not make it for a peaceful night when spraying room with bug spray at 10:30pm when label clearly states it should not be sprayed around people, ventilate for 30 mins. Pool is lacking pool towels as you have to use your room towels and then have to track down additional towels(not very resort like). The infinity pool has a great view and beach is mostly private.

This place is expectacular. The views, the small details from the rooms to the restaurant, cleanliness and attentiveness from all staff 10/10! The menu is on the pricey side but we got good quality and taste. The infinity pool makes a great spot for pictures, along with the other well manicured areas. They also do day passes, not sure how much for though or how this works but saw a large family during the day, then leave at about 6pm. If you walk down to the beach itself while it’s beautiful, and have the beach to yourself. unfortunately, there’s quite a bit of litter around the place which is sad given it’s a such a lovely spot. Having said that this is more of a broader country issue and not really a reflection of the hotel itself.

Really stylish hotel just outside El Cuco, with really gorgeous rooms overlooking the ocean, a beautiful infinity pool surrounded by palm trees, nice staff and a restaurant with great food and cheap cocktails. It's a short stroll to the town, shops, restaurants and the gigantic public beach which is really buzzing on the weekend, but you don't have to go that far. the hotel is right on its own beach, and, watching the tides, you can stroll or swim right in front of your room. After the hustle and bustle of Dia de Los Muertos in Mexico staying here for a few days was just heaven.

The hotel facilities themselves are quite nice. The rooms are comfortable and large. They arranged an airport shuttle for us without issue (though for some reason it was 30 USD more than what our friends paid at the hotel next door). The food at the restaurant is generally not memorable but adequate. The service can be hit or miss at the restaurant. For example they messed up my order and gave me an entirely wrong dish. I told them and they apologized but I said it was fine and would have it anyway. At the end of the meal the server offered to give me my original dish I ordered if I wanted (presumably free). I was still hungry so took them up on the offer only to find they charged me for both. It’s not a big deal but also not the sort of thing you expect at a “boutique hotel”. Also some confusion about what was included with our complimentary breakfast and what wasn’t. Seemed to be charges for things that we were told was included. It wasn’t consistent Overall it’s a good place to stay considering the other options though maybe a bit pricey for what you get . The views are incredible and it’s very clean and comfortable

This is a quiet, secluded and secure place. The property only has 6 rooms. At night the entrance gate is closed and property patrolled by guards. The service provided by front desk and restaurant staff was excellent. Myself and wife stayed in the blue room upstairs. We had a spectacular view of the beach. I definitely recommend this place. Great job muchachos!
