El Nido Resorts Pangulasian Island

beautiful resort, which felt like a dream island. It's highly recommended for couples, with professional and friendly staff and great tours. However, it's best for shorter stays due to limited nighttime activities and the isolated island location. Be cautious of jellyfish season in the hot summer months. I would definitely go there again if the prices are reasonable.

A beautiful escape into the wonders and nature of El Nido, Palawan. And along with it one of the best accomodations, personalized services, hospitable and the friendliest staff, great food, and stunning views. Offering a memorable vacation worth visiting again.

Great location for Couples/family to relax. Quiet and serene. Rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. We stayed in one of the Kalaw Villas which is at the far end of the resort. We noticed that because of the tide directions, the trash - plastics and empty water botters are swept on our side of the villa but I did not saw anyone cleaning that area. The pool at the Kalaw Villa is a little bit slippery too and full of falled leaves. We had some hiccups during check-in as we arrived quite early around past 8AM. We waited for nearly 3PM to check-in. We are fine with waiting as they alloweed us to join an activity to visit the cave and snake island. But when we came back, we were advised that the room will be ready in minutes, but we still waited for hours. My husband had gluten intoletance and for most meals we needed to mention that so they could customize his food. The chef was very accomodating to our requests and customizations. There were limited food options perhaps due to ingredients not being available because of the recent typhoon, but we managed to enjoy what they can offer. Overall, the service is amazing as the staffs are very attentive to detail and very friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Pangulasian, and I’d highly recommend it — with a few practical notes to help future travelers plan well. Arrival Logistics (Important!) The last transfer boat to Pangulasian departs around 5:30 p.m., so make sure your flight arrives well before then. Ours landed too late, so we stayed overnight near El Nido Airport at their sister property Seda Lio, which offers complimentary airport transfers and was perfect for a quick stopover. Pangulasian also provides complimentary boat transfers once you’re ready to head to the island. Rooms & Facilities The beach villas are fantastic — right on the sand, steps from calm, swimmable water, with great privacy and no real need to upgrade to a pool villa. Rooms are spotless, the bedding is excellent, and the air-conditioning is powerful and easy to control. Large bathrooms, good water pressure, and daily replenishment of complimentary fruit, nuts, cookies, tea, and coffee were lovely touches. Laundry is very expensive, so bring a few detergent packets if you think you’ll need to wash anything. Electrical sockets take US plugs btw. Wi-Fi & Power Wi-Fi worked well throughout the resort, which was impressive given the location. There are occasional brownouts, but they’re brief and didn’t affect our stay in any meaningful way. Food & Pricing This is where travelers should be prepared: food and drinks are extremely pricey. • Beer: 700 PHP • Cocktails: 990 PHP • Dinner buffet: 5,500 PHP per person • À la carte dinner: around 4,000 PHP per person for three courses There are optional meal plans: • Half board (dinner only): 3,600 PHP per person/day • Half board (lunch + dinner): 7,000 PHP per person/day (with some menu restrictions) • Beverage package: 4,800 PHP per person/day Breakfast, thankfully, is included and excellent with a huge selection. Tip: Happy hour at the pool bar (4–6 p.m.) has great 2-for-1 deals. Excursions — A Real Highlight Don’t miss the included daily excursions. They were a highlight of our trip: small groups (6–8 people), stunning caves, grottos, beaches, and kayaking. They run about 3–4 hours and give you a terrific feel for Bacuit Bay. We didn’t think the extra-cost private tours or special dinners were worth the premium — the included options were fantastic on their own. Snorkeling & Wildlife The house reef right off the beach is excellent — safe, easy snorkeling with plenty of sea life. No need to arrange anything extra unless you want a longer trip. Spa The spa is just one treatment room, but the therapists are exceptionally skilled. A really lovely experience, quiet and restorative. Service & Communication The staff were genuinely outstanding — warm, attentive, and proactive. On arrival, we were greeted by a formal welcome line, cool towels, and drinks before a quick transfer to our room.
