2-Star Hotels in EL Nido

Great party hostel with lots of events and very good well trained staff. The location is ten minutes by tuk-tuk to town so isn’t the best but in return you do get to chill right on the beach. The food and drinks at the bar are amazing but they are a little more expensive than downtown el nido. The beds and the bathroom facilities are clean and well looked after with plenty of bum guns to sort you out after eating a bad meal in town. The entrance and exit could do with improving especially at night as you have to get in from the beach which isn’t ideal at night when there is a high tide and/ or loads of rabid dogs barking and running toward you.

We had an amazing and comfortable stay at Swiftlets. Perfectly located in between the town and Corong Corong beach. Friendly staff and Great breakfast. We were able to walk in and out of town which was a saving. However Tricycles are readily available right opposite the hotel. There is a laundromat opposite the hotel which was really cheap and efficient. The manager is very hands on and staff on duty 24/7. Great Value for money. We will definitely use them again should we return.

We experienced excellent service, all our small problems were quickly solved. Straff very friendly and helpful! Nice room with view at mountains. Abundant breakfast, rice or toasted bread with sausages, fried eggs, or beef patties. Manager always there to see that guests were satisfied. WiFi les at top flr. As retired Quality Dept. staff member of Jap. company in Netherlands, my rating is 5 out of 5.

The superior apartment is perfect for a family. It is right by the ferry port and close to all the restaurants and shops, but is at the quiet end. The WiFi isn't the best but that was good because it meant the kids weren't on their phones all the time! The shower was either super hot or cold, but again not really a problem because who wants a hot shower in 30⁰C+ heat?? Lovely local people living near by too. We loved our stay here.

We had a nice stay here, spacious rooms with good air con and showers. Could've done with a mattress topper or larger bedsheet as it kept popping off. Great facilities and staff otherwise and perfect for a short stay.

​I have a feeling that the worst room might have been allocated to me. ＞_＜ There is no hot water shower (This should be applicable to all rooms) Pull switch of fun doesn’t work The lamp of a bedside table was dead Mosquito nets are equipped to the windows and the door but there is a gap between the net and door frame etc. The door doesn’t shut properly. Toilet flush is broken. Pail of bucket is provided. Although the cottage is old, I like the concept. It is really located right next to the cliff. There is public space in the center. This property looks like a really cute cottage. There is a big table and a coffee table in front of your room, which is all yours. You can have to-go food there and drink coffee. Boiled water is provided every morning in thermos​ to each room​ but bring your own coffee as there is no amenity except small soap bars. The wall is very thin and it might be too noisy for some of you. The first night I stayed there was really noisy as there was a Karaoke party ​behind​ the cottage. It lasted till 2200. Also you will have to hear the conversation in the next room. Luckily a solo traveller stayed in the next room for some nights out of my entire stay so I didn’t need to hear anything from the next room. The sound of the toilet flush and shower might bother you. There is no TV and AC in the room but there are 3 AC rooms that cost more than 1,000 pesos per night. They have wifi but the signal is very weak. My iPhone picked it up but my laptop wouldn’t connect to the internet. There is a kiosk onsite. It is only 50 pesos away from the bus station (I arrived from Puerto Princesa by Cherry Bus)​ and walkable to the beach. I believe that every hotel in El Nido would have brown water, so just be ready for brown water. After I booked some nights from AGODA, I sent queries to the property but I got a very unfriendly and not-useful response after several chases. Service/hospitality isn't good. Don't expect it.​ When I had some issues about S-Pass, no one would help me. I heard that management changed at some point but I don't know when exactly.

The place is very comfortable. We stayed here for three nights and I must say that this place is awesome. The receptionists are very helpful and they always make our room tidy. Keep up the good work!

I was 3 weeks in this hotel in February 2023 and excited. It is a very nicely maintained small hotel facility near the center of El Nido. The rooms are very beautiful and clean and are clean every 2 days and breakfast is a very good choice and gets a great quality. Particularly great, the super friendly staff is one who receives a smile and helps with questions. I also booked my motorcycle at the reception, the transfer to Puerto Princessa as well as all tour packages from A to D and it was super successful. I'll be happy to come back next year and can recommend this hotel to everyone for a great holiday in El Nido ,
