This hotel is not a 4-star hotel by any international standards, it is more like a 2-star hotel which is quite outdated and the noice isolation is non existent. The personnel is friendly except for the manager (lady) who should really give a serious thought about her communication style. She started screaming to a 14 year old kid about something he was totally innocent to. There were several crazy incidents with this lady who seems to be quite unstable. We spoke to another group staying at the hotel at the same time and they also had some crazy incidents with this lady. Then the food, we had the halfboard for our stay. The breakfast was kind of ok but not great. The dinners were mostly terrible and we did not eat some of the dishes (adding a picture of one of the appetizers). The fish was served raw on two occasions and when sent back it was never returned. With a steak knife I had a hard time cutting my steak as it was so terrible. I do not recommend selecting the halfboard at this hotel as the food is really bad (other guests we spoke to said the same). I actually do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only positive thing I can say about this one is the location.

Friendly and helpful staff. At front desk and in the dining room. Lovely room looking over the mountain and so close to the chair lift! The location in Pasa La Casa is close to so many amenities. Taking the public transit to the Andorra La Vella, the capital city was easy and a wonderful adventure.

I generally only leave reviews when my experience has either been dreadful or excellent. The owners of Hotel Kandahar were, thankfully, amazing. The location is perfect, with short walks to 3 x different chair lifts. The ski locker room is on the same floor as Reception, which makes the chore of returning and collecting your ski's so much easier. Warm, clean, friendly, helpful, efficient. Everything you hope for when booking a hotel. Although centrally locatedm there is no encroachment of noise from outside into the communal spaces and bedrooms. The restaurant is a delight. Breakfast has everything you could want every morning, and more. Waiters/esses clearing your plates as you work through the different types of breakfast, hot buffet, pastries, fruit platters. Dinner was table service, so refreshing from so many buffet services. Choices of three different starters and mains plus a childs option. Followed by a wast dessert selection to choose from plus yoghurts and icecream. You can order drinks from the maitre d' and if you choose a bottle of wine and dont drink it all, they keep it for you and put it back on your table for the next night. Most guests used the hotel lounge to spend time pre or post dinner. Lots of families, sitting together chatting or palying cards etc. Our family fit right in but I can imagine those looking for more to do of an evening, maybe entertainment for you and/or children, this is probably not the place for you.

Es el tercer año que pasamos un fin de semana de nieve en el hotel Kandhajar. Como siempre hemos estado de maravilla, el hotel està a pie de pistas y la comodidad es total. Hemos hecho desayuno, comida y cena en el hotel, los buffets son muy completos y los menus muy variados. Todo muy rico y de cantidades abundantes. El personal es muy atento y Elisenda y Xavi te ayudan en todo momento. Disponen de spa muy recomendable para terminar la jornada de esquí y de una sala muy amplia donde pasar un buen rato despues de la cena. Las habitaciones son amplias y el servicio de limpieza es muy bueno. Es un hotel muy familiar y tranquilo con todos los servicios que puedes necesitar. Sin duda repetiremos la proxima temporada!!

Gezellig net, beetje oudbollig hotel in het dorp aan de piste naarst de lift. Wij hadden een 3 persoonskamer (306) met uitzicht op de piste en liften vanaf ons balkonnetje. Vanuit de skilockers is het 20 meter looen naar de piste. De kamer is ruim met een badkamer met bad en wastafel en een aparte wc. De kamer werd iedere dag gepoetst en tijdens de week werd het beddengoed verschoond. Nieuwe handdoeken kreeg je als je ze in de badkuip legde. De kamers zijn prima geïsoleerd, wat nodig is om het geluid van feestgangers in het dorp buiten te houden. Het ontbijt is goed en wordt in buffetvorm gedaan. Het viergangendiner 's avonds is prima; het begon met twee asmuses, dan keuze uit 4 voorgerechten, uit 2 hoofdgerechten en als afsluiting toetjes buffet. De hoofdober nam de keuzes op en de obers serveerden uit. Tevens een leuke zeer betaalbare wijnkaart. Als de wijn niet op was stond hij de volgende dag weer keurig op je vaste tafel. Een van de hoogte punten was de Andorrese avond, met BBQ op de openhaard. Al het personeel was heel erg aardig en.behulpzaam. Ze spraken Frans, Spaans, Catalaans en Engels. De WIFI was goed. Het hotel heeft in de kelder een vrij nieuwe spa, met sauna, Turks bad en een bubbelbad. Dit moet je exta betalen, maar je krijgt dan ook een badjas, grote handdoek en slippers (14euro pp voor 2 uur). Je kunt voor 75 euro ook nog een fijne massage van 60 minuten krijgen. De enige twee kleine minpuntjes van dit hotel zijn dat de lift heel traag is en het erg warm gestookt wordt in het hotel. Voor ons zou de verwarming 4-5 graden lager mogen om 19 graden.

Todos os anos vou para Soldeu, em Andorra, no entanto, este ano optei por ir para Pas de la Casa, e creio que a este hotel não voltarei. A estadia neste local deixou muito a desejar. Desde a água turva da torneira até ao cabelo na comida, a experiência foi dececionante. A falta de variedade de frutas ao pequeno-almoço e a ausência de opções vegetarianas foram desapontadoras. Além disso, os quartos eram pequenos, não possuíam frigorífico ou shampoo, e a limpeza deixava muito a desejar. Não havia piscina mas sim apenas jacuzzi, o que foi um pouco dececionante para as crianças. Para além disso as escadas eram estreitas e perigosas, sem corrimão. A comida congelada e de má qualidade, juntamente com bebidas caras, apenas acrescentaram à insatisfação geral. Esqueci-me ainda de referir que a água da torneira não era transparente mas sim branca, como se pode ver na imagem. A localização e a sala de convívio foram os únicos pontos positivos, mas não o suficiente para compensar os muitos pontos negativos. Em suma, não recomendaria esta estadia a ninguém.

Un séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel où tout a été bien pensé pour notre confort : l 'accueil du personnel discret et toujours aimable, le ski room chauffé est d'accès facile, la chambre agréable est bien insonorisée avec une bonne literie. Nous avons apprécié la cuisine soignée, le service impeccable et les menus variés à thèmes : soirées tapas, repas catalan.. ainsi qu'un apéro très convivial sur les pistes ! Hôtel à conseiller en couple ou en famille, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir ! ..............

Les menus ne changent pas d’une année à l’autre ! Restaurant gastronomique est à revoir ? Faire payer un enfant de trois ans au même prix qu’un adulte, je trouve cela un peu exagéré ! Le stationnement devant l’hôtel manque de place d’autant que certains clients mettent leur voiture le matin de bonne heure pour être sûr d’avoir une place . Belle mentalité !
