Aerohotel Barcelona Airport 24h

I dont know what the star rating is but it should be 5 stars. Could not fault our experience in any way. We sort of only found it by luck and couldn't be happier, easily the best stay in our whole 4 week trip. The whole staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful in everyway. The room was spotlessly clean and the modern decor inside belies the cube like exterior. Close to the metro and only 20 minutes to the centre of Barcelona. Special thanks to Danica, Pauline? and the whole crew during our stay. If they ever wanted a job in Cairns I'd employ them straight away. Well done.

Staying in Barcelona,? Then definitely give this hotel a go if you want a good clean room, good facilities and fantastic staff for an excellent price. We arrived early and hoped to store our bags at the hotel but there was no need as our room was ready. The receptionist was so good, extremely polite, efficient and although my Spanish is coming along nicely, I'm not fluent but she was patient and helped me along the way, guiding me in English when I needed it. Once we were checked in, the room although small, had everything you need and was spotlessly clean. There was very little noise in the hotel although you could tell there were quite a lot of people staying, we were right by the lift, which we thought would be hell, but there was no problem at all. We hadn't realised when we paid our £65 room fee that breakfast was included, which was a bonus, especially as it is served from 4am and we were leaving for the airport an hour or so later. On coming down, the gentleman staff member again was so friendly and informative, took us to the dining room, which is nicely set up and pointed us in the direction of the buffet breakfast, including recommending the SMOKED SALMON on offer wow that was so fresh and delicious. The breakfast choice is substantial, toast, jams,, meat, cheese, yoghurt, cereals and a ton of drinks to choose from We received a warm and friendly goodbye when we left and I say hand on heart, my next visit to Barcelona is going to be staying here. Is there a negative, not really. It's a 20min metro ride to the city, but the metro is literally 200yds away and getting back to the airport is quick and easy too. The area has shops, restaurants and takeaways close by. I would give this 10 stars if I could, one of my favourite hotel stays anywhere
