We booked the hotel mainly for its spa and indoor pool. At check-in, we asked the reception about the pool opening hours, but they told us they didn’t know, as it wasn’t part of the hotel. When we finally arrived at the spa, we were informed that it costs €10 per hour, per person—which seems excessive to me. We were also asked for a credit card as a guarantee at check-in, and I’d like to take this opportunity to ask the general manager a question to reflect on: what is the purpose of this credit card guarantee if the room only has a dirty, empty minibar? To make matters worse, there wasn’t even a room service menu available.
Very poor customer service overall, and it seems like the hotel is missing out on potential revenue opportunities.
