Best El Segundo Hotels

"Our plane arrived around 8pm at LAX. We were told to call for shuttle after picking up our luggage which we did. After my wife (69) and I (72) stood and sat in 46 degree weather for about an hour and a half the shuttle finally showed up. And it passed right by us about 45 minutes earlier. We finally got to our room and in bed around 11pm. We had to rise at 3am for a 5:40 flight, so we didn't get but around 4 minus hours of sleep. Absolutely ridiculous that anyone much less senior people had to wait that long for a shuttle to their hotel. Worst time we have ever had with a hotel stay."

"The hotel located in quiet neighborhood. No shuttle bus from LAX so, I took Uber and cost about $35. (15 min. Ride in the early evening of weekday). On the way to LAX is about $16. There is a share ride from the airport to save some $$. No free bottle water in the room and I had to ask for tooth brush & paste at reception. Room was clean, has large bath room with tub and enough closet space. I wish they have shuttle service."

"Two 1.8-meter beds, a separate room and a bathroom, two rooms and two halls. More suitable for family travel. You can cook your own food. 5 minutes walk from the subway station. There is a steakhouse at the door, and the Mother’s market is around half an hour’s drive from the airport. It is a bus stop."

"It's pretty good. Although there are only a few breakfast items, there are plenty of mixes and matches, but there are not enough seats. It is recommended to go there early to eat. It’s also convenient if you have a car, and it’s 30 US dollars a day over night. Just near the highway, it's convenient to go anywhere."

"OK hotel if you wish to stay near LAX. Minor fusses from us: no free bottled water in the room, have to refill in Lobby and no bedroom slippers provided. Other than that, bed is comfortable with decent soundproofing."

"The Fairfield is a no-frills hotel with helpful staff, comfy big rooms, and very reliable airport shuttle, which runs every 30 minutes.   The breakfast is OK, though the scrambled eggs are made from some formulaic powder, not from real eggs.   I would prefer an option for real eggs, like hard-boiled eggs, and more fruit and salads.   Also, heavy on sausages, bacon and sugary foods.   If you just want to spend one night before your trip to LAX airport, the Fairfield will get you there on time! "
