Palas Pineda

Nice resort. Lots of activites for everyone. Close to beach and shopping. Ver safe area. We stayed here before going to Port Aventura.

We had amazing family holiday here! All the staff were so friendly and very helpful, nothing was a bother. Rooms were fine, clean, good wardrobe space and good sized shower. Food was really good, always someone cooking fresh on the hot plate. We stayed for a week and they had at least 4 themed nights where they cooked outside on the bbq. The Mexican night was definitely the best one! Tip- go a bit later in the evening as it’s quite busy the first hour and there was some queuing for food. Animation team were amazing (especially Arthur), so friendly and great with the kids! Always made an effort to chat to everyone and make sure everyone is having fun! A range of entertainment every night to suit all ages (the animation teams own shows were our favourite though, very talented people)! One evening it was a bit cooler and they had a movie on inside for the kids. Pool side was very clean, always plenty of seating areas/loungers. Pool was cold but once you were in it was lovely. Indoor pool was a good size and very enjoyable. Beach is very clean, promenade has a few nice shops and bars/restaurants. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel for a family, the kids are dying to go back next year!

Had great week at Palas Pineda with daughter. A perfect seaview, fab room, cleaned every day. Pool clean & inviting, entertainment great. A language barrier with bar staff but always friendly. Food could be warmer. Need a kettle in the room

After a short transfer from Reus airport we were dropped off at the entrance and our first impression of the hotel was good we were then told to we needed to go outside and around the corner to a 2nd reception where we would check in a little bit annoying but when we entered the other entrance it was even better than the first! .We arrived about 11:00 am and were upgraded to 2 storey duplex rooms which we’re ready for us to go straight into , they were perfect for our needs. Always found hotel to be clean as were our rooms every day, on the occasions that I went to reception I always found the staff friendly and helpful and even though I don’t know much Spanish never found it a problem to communicate with any staff . Food is typical of what you would normally find and it was varied enough to suit most people really enjoyed the breakfast and never went hungry if you go down as soon as restaurant open you may have trouble finding a table but let the first rush go and then no problems. Pools were quite cold but once in it was enjoyable never had a problem finding sun beds. Activities and entertainment were available if you wanted to join in not really my thing but other guest seem to be enjoying It. Location is perfect just across the road from a beautiful beach the promenade with shops restaurants ect bus stop close by and about a 10 min walk to the Friday market, in general found the area outside hotel clean and pleasant to walk around , overall really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Just had a lovely stay at this hotel with family. Adults and children all had a great time. It is a big beautiful hotel, which I would say seemed to have more Spanish and French guests than British at time of stay (late aug-early sep) however did not put me off it added to atmosphere of being away on holiday. Same with kids entertainment/disco -mainly in Spanish and French but kids still loved it. Highlights- outdoor pool was great, kids and I loved it- they had 2 different types of slides-kids and I spent hours here most days. Nice selection of soft drinks/alcoholic/cocktails/mocktails, milkshake,slushies for kids at pool bar. Room was cleaned everyday&towels changed. The beach is a few mins walk-Pineda beach was a lovely sandy beach,warm sea-nice shops (La Pineda is a nice area- not too busy but good selection of shops, restaurants) Food- breakfast-choice of full English (bacon and sausage not my favourite style-but different countries have different styles. Plenty of pastries, breads , cheeses , fruit. Dinner and lunch-seafood everyday, chips and pasta for kids everyday, pizza and fishfingers a few days,lots of salad, different meats, bread. Kids loved the self service ice cream. The restaurant was quite busy with people and quite noisy when we stayed. Didn’t take ages to select your food just busy with lots of people-there were quieter areas you could sit in conservatory and patio bit. One night there was a long queue to get in restaurant-may have been a one off as was only evening, just need to try and pick your times right. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would stay here again.
