Hotels with Breakfast in Elgin

1. This hotel is close to Tesco in Elgin. The location is actually very good. It is also very close to High Street. It is far from the church site, but it is still within walking distance. 2. The hotel was on the old site of a manor. When I first drove into the yard door, I was a little surprised. The environment was very good. The room is also very big and the bed is very classical. Facilities and software are very good. 3. Breakfast is a traditional English breakfast, the yard is large, very convenient for parking. 4. It is very convenient to drive to Spezai and other areas. I think it is more convenient to live in Elgin than in Dufftown.

Excellent lunch today. Great menu. We had Korean chicken with coconut rice. Massive helping. So tasty. The young waitress was so nice and smiley. Very attentative. Wish there was more like her. We saw several meals coming through and all looked delicious. Busy at lunchtime. Highly recommend.

Well.. i will give an honest review here. i wouldn’t recommend to anybody. We booked through itison who currently have a deal on for a 2 night stay at this hotel. We were called at 3pm (check in time) to inform us our booking had been cancelled for the second night… the hotel were “full”. well after driving 6 hours to Elgin i can assure you this is not what we wanted to hear. This was not resolved and we had to leave after the 1st night. After checking in, this wasn’t such a bad thing. The leisure facilities were all of a sudden closed on arrival so unable to comment on them however the rooms and extremely dated. The carpets are torn, stained, and not in great condition at all. Our door had a hole right through it where it had previously been kicked in i guess. After some research on our way home we discovered the hotel was housing asylum seekers until last week therefore i think the hotel needs a serious refresh before it can open its doors to general public again and charging people for this isn’t acceptable. To add to this there was one staff member running the entirety of reception/bar etc who was absolutely hopeless in helping us out with our cancelled booking after confirming it 5 days prior. In regards to the hotel being fully booked.. we were the only car in the far park and the only people at breakfast in the morning so i would love to know more about this “beings full” considering there is an apparent 52 rooms. All in all, it was severely dated, not well looked after, and awful customer service from both the hotel itself and itison in this case. We can guarantee we won’t be back, so save your money and try somewhere else! even the locals warned us 🙈! the website was an extremely false representation of the hotel in its current state. thanks x please note our photos and videos don’t even look too bad.. you should of seen the state of the carpets.

We stayed there last night having booked this hotel well in advance for £36 for our nights stay. The room that we were allocated was a premier plus room located on one of the wings which had a large comfortable bed, the room was clean and tidy and very quiet. Would certainly have no hesitation in using the Premier inn again 👍

Bed was huge and bedding was crisp and clean. Room and bathroom were both spotless and had no complaints. Breakfast was great lots of fresh fruit, yogurts, pastries, cereals, fresh fruits juices, full English breakfast, toast and jams were available. Could not have asked for more. Lady who served us was so helpful and nothing was to much trouble.

3 night stay. EVERY staff member was friendly and made every effort they could to help or make our stay better. Upon arrival we started to head to our room and it seemed like the carpets were a bit dated/old and the stairs were showing signs of wear. I was a little concerned we'd find a tired/worn down room. Turns out the bath had been very recently updated, and the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Appears they've been spending money in the RIGHT places! In-house restaurant for two dinners and very good food (at reasonable prices) and the small in--house bar was impressively stocked. Alistair at the bar was ESPECIALLY good as he helped make one night during our visit for myself and son exceptionally memorable. Note for travelers: they were able to send laundry out ”by the bag” at a very reasonable rate. That made our travels easier.

Fantastic village pub with great hosts Grant and Evelyn. The food is fantastic never had a bad meal ever and Evelyn and the locals go out of their way to welcome you. Was my husbands birthday and a cake was brought to him with candles and the whole pub sang happy birthday. You have to book for meals but everything is fresh and hot and real chips as well.

My second time staying here and is now my go to place in Elgin. Always get a warm friendly welcome on arrival. Wonderful big building and gardens to match. Gated driveway up to the property. Even has a guest lounge with a roaring log fire. Fantastic. Central enough to be within walking distance of the centre of town. Bedroom is full of character and really comfy big bed. Good choice of breakfast in the morning. When I consider places like the Premier Inn that I used to stay at there is really no comparison. What a wonderful place.

We were in Elgin for one night completing a job, we arrived at the hotel around 8pm and the receptionist was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed. Smart TVs in rooms meant being able to access Netflix etc. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was incredibly fresh and tasty. We had a few drinks in the bar before bed and the night porter that served us was a very affable and chatty guy. A massive selection of whiskies available. No complaints at all. Recommended.
