Hotel Anastazia

This family run hotel is brilliant. Run by Anastazia and Andreas and their sons. Beautiful position on the hill overlooking the sea. Great pool and bar area. The rooms are huge and very very clean. The breakfast is fabulous purely greek. Anything you require you just ask these lovely hosts. Nothing is any trouble. Poros town has everything you need. Great eateries and supermarkets, butcher, delicatessen, pharmacy gift shops. Lovely beach at Poros. Free sunbeds and umbrellas are provided by the owners of the taverna on the beach. If you want to try all the other beaches Anastazia will direct you. She is so helpful. You go to this hotel as a guest and leave as a friend. Best hotel and holiday ever! Thankyou.

This small family run hotel was just as the reviews described. Anastazia and Andreas couldn’t do enough for us. We had a lovely view over the sea, breakfast was delicious and varied every day, the pool was a welcome cool down with plenty of sun beds and a bar for drinks. We were a bit worried about the hill to get back to the hotel from the town not being the fittest couple going but it wasn’t too bad at all! Thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely family run hotel close to Poros Harbour. Our room was air conditioned, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We stayed as a family of 3 with our daughter on a bed in our spacious room. A fridge is provided and handy to keep water and snacks chilled. A large balcony with stunning panoramic views across Poros Bay. A plentiful, simple Greek breakfast was served each morning by the Pool. The breakfast consisted of boiled eggs, bread with toasted option, croissants, cakes, cheese, hams, savoury pastries, yoghurt, fresh fruit, honey, several delicious, homemade marmalades, coffee, tea and orange juice. The family could not have been more welcoming, accommodating or helpful. Always there to greet you with a a huge smile and anything u you ask would not be too much trouble for them. The harbour is a walk down (and back up!) a long hill, here there are a selection of tavernas and bars and a mini supermarket. Further on is Poros Town, a longer but pleasant, scenic walk (again, hilly in places) where there are many more tavernas, souvenir shops and a long stretch of beach, some of which have lifeguards present. However we chose to visit a tiny cove closer to the hotel in the opposite direction. Off the beaten track and often deserted, with a lovely area to swim in and snorkel. Anastazia will give you directions! Most beaches are large pebbles or a mix of shingle and sand. Sea shoes are required. Relatively good snorkelling in places near the rocks. The sea is beautifully clear, and very safe. The only downside to our stay and this doesn’t reflect on the family, was an unfriendly, hotel guest that was constantly talking loudly on her phone for literally hours on end! We could not escape her, she was in the balcony above us (from 07:30 in the morning!) and all day by the pool. If not talking on her phone, it was pinging loudly every few minutes or playing classical music. She seemed to know the family but presumably she was just there on holiday! It would put us off staying if she was there regularly. Apart from this, a very relaxing holiday, hosted by a delightful family and away from the crowds. If you don’t have a car, not essential and we did not, there is a fair bit of walking, mostly hilly. We enjoyed walking off our food and taking in the stunning scenery.

A perfect 8 night stay in this fabulous hotel with the warmest of family hosts whose constant aim for us as guests to have the most fantastic experience/holiday - and they achieved this and more ! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and with panoramic views of the gorgeous harbour of Poros and beyond to the town/beach. Situated up a hill - approx 8 mins walk to the port and then onto the town square and beaches - from which we had the joy of seeing dolphins swimming not too far off the beach ! The outdoor area was a great setting for super breakfast and for relaxing by the pool during the day and enjoying a drink in the evening, all served by the family who were always on hand to help, answer any questions and ensure we had the best possible experience of this amazing part of a beautiful island. We shall be looking at dates to return very soon !

Rooms arehuge and so clean you could eat of the floors. Towels and sheets are changed every other day. Pool closes at 20:00. Breakfast is not very diversified. Despite this it was good. We've had a wonderful stay.
