Emeishan Homestays

I chose this hotel because it is close to the entrance of Emeishan and it was definitely the right decision! It is within a 10 minute walk and also highly accessible by car/bus (5 minute car ride from the high speed railway station). The hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful, giving me lots of food recommendations and also taking extra care in making sure I am safe and know how to get around (given that I am a young female solo traveller). The room was incredibly spacious and well lit. The breakfast options were also very extensive. Definitely worth the value for money and encourage everyone to stay here!

The room is very large, the bed is soft and comfortable, and the beds in the twin room are all 1.5-meter beds. The bathroom is spacious with separate wet and dry areas. The shower room is very user-friendly and equipped with wooden boards for footrests. The toiletries are very easy to use, and every detail shows quality. The hotel's service is very good, the staff is warm and thoughtful, from luggage handling to room service, you can feel the meticulous care.

I wish to do a fair review of my B&B stay at Emeishan. Service was spectacular. 1) The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Emeishan Station (not to be confused with Emei Station), about 7-8 mins drive from the hotel. I communicated via WeChat which trains I would be on and let them know that my 1st train arrival was actually so that I could drop off my large suitcase at their place, before going backwards to Leshan for half a day, and then returning to Emeishan in the evening. Not only did they agree to send someone to the train station to pick-up, they agreed to pick up only my luggage without me needing to accompany. So I could add an additional hour to my Leshan trip. Then they came to the train station a 2nd time in the evening to pick me back to the hotel. 2) The hotel replies very very quickly on WeChat, as if monitoring it all the time. 3) The hotel could arrange ticket purchase of a show, Only Emeishan, at a price lower than what you find on the official website. 4) The hotel even left the suitcase in my room before my arrival. 5) When I told the hotel to skip preparing my breakfast as I was starting off at 7am the next day to go Emeishan (breakfast is 7.30am at the hotel), they offered to put some items into a plastic box for me to take along. 5-star service in terms of making arrangements! They gave me a really large room, and I never used the bathtub with the bath herbs, but am thankful for the upgrade. Loved it that they gave 1 gigantic bottle of water and 2 smaller ones, showing their care for pple intending to climb Emeishan. Please don't expect too much from what they call ”Afternoon Tea” included in your package. It is merely a small tray of dried/fresh fruit, so it wouldn't form a meal. But I would not be fair to readers of reviews if I didn't give a balanced review. a) The hardware is a bit tired. The wooden planks in the shower room are blackish, and there are water marks on the stone in the bathroom. b) The power sockets are not at good locations. They are at the lower parts of a wall at a random spot and nothing near the bedside. c) The lights in the room are not well-positioned. d) There was an empty bottle below the wardrobe area when I first entered the room, which was missed even on the 2nd day. e) As I'm not familiar with Emeishan, I also didn't know that 黄湾 area is not exactly the main activity area in Emeishan. That said, the hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the 黄湾 entrance/exit to Emeishan. I believe the Baoguo Temple entrance/exit would be more popular. There are several restaurants around the restaurant but the vast majority appear closed or are not occupied, so it doesn't feel very lively, whether day or night. All in all, I would still recommend this hotel as they are family owned and run. The whole family depends on your support. Support local small business and give them a chance.

The hotel is close to Wuxiangang Station in Mount Emei. You need to buy tickets for Mount Emei before you can enter. The station pick-up service is provided. The traffic is very convenient. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and will help plan the tour route. The hotel's dinner is also superb, super delicious, and I will stay next time I have the opportunity.

The inn is very unique, with a small courtyard at the door and a small balcony in the room. It is near the Emeishan Visitor Center, less than ten minutes' walk away, and very convenient for travel. I booked a small duplex parent-child room, and the children liked it very much

I rarely have the urge to write reviews, this time I especially want to write about my love for this homestay. First, the environment is quiet and elegant. The whole bookstore is filled with the aroma of sweet-scented osmanthus. There are many books, and there are more than a dozen tea and coffee tables indoors and outdoors. Whether it is the display of tables and chairs or other furniture, or the atmosphere of the entire water system decoration, it gives people a great feeling. Then talk about the guest room: the room is very clean, whether it is bath towels or towels, it is prepared for ordinary hotel-style and disposable, and the bathroom has a disposable toilet cover. Give guests a great sense of security with hygiene requirements. The bathroom amenities are also very complete. Whether it is a kettle or a tissue box, every small thing in the room can be seen from the boss's intentions. Although the room is not big, there is also a small aisle and balcony. The small aisle can put luggage, and through the chic wooden windows, you can see the water system design and tea place on the second floor. There are tables and chairs on the small balcony where you can have tea and chat at night. Finally, let's talk about the service: all the management staff, the service staff, including the aunt who cleaned up, are very good. In short, living here feels very relaxed and warm.

I didn't plan to go out this year, I didn't like to be too crowded and noisy. I temporarily remembered to find a place to go around. I read a lot of reviews on the Internet and said that the environment of this homestay is very good, quiet and not noisy. So I decided here. After I came, I felt really good. The homestay is in a half-mountain next to the Emei Mountain Scenic Area. It has not been developed, natural and ecological. Because it is the New Year, there is also a New Year atmosphere, the red firewood of the smoke, the quiet mountains, the enthusiastic boss... suddenly feel that this temporary choice will also give people surprises. This unexpected surprise makes this Spring Festival a little more happy! Dongyue Banshan B&B is also worth your expectations!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel! The location was perfect right in between the start of the mountain and the small town with plenty of restaurants. The rooms were stunning and clean with many amenities that all worked perfectly. We deeply appreciated the coffee machine in the room as well as the tea and filtered water! The service was incredible and the staff really went out of their way to accomodate any of our requests or needs. They turned on the hottub every evening at 6:30 so it would be filled for us once we returned! Not to mention the breakfast was the best breakfast i’ve tried in all of China! Thank you for making my birthday so special. Highly recommend !

What an amazing stay. First time in Emei and while this isn't a walkable hotel, the hotel staff took such good care of me. They helped organize taxis, tea farm visit, rides to the bus station to get to the summit and Qingyin Pavilion, food everyday for breakfast and dinner (I'm celiac and they were able to serve me food every day twice a day that never made me sick, very impressed). The hot springs in the room stayed perfect temperature all the time and were a great nourishment after long day to the summit or hikes. They even did a tea service for us when asked about tea. Well worth the cost and then some. Make sure to get WeChat so that you can message them, that's where all the coordination and help happened the easiest (since I don't speak Chinese).

We stayed for 2 nights at this facility to climb mt emei. We had a wonderfull time at this location. This has many Reasons, but the most important one was that everything was very clean and the service was very hospitable and Nothing was too much asked. The location itself is a good place to start walking on mt emei or just relax and take a look at the Monastery next to the hotel. The Food was also very delicious and we got an abundance of fruit. All in all a very good place to stay and if you are thinking of booking, just do it.
