Qingyin Pavilion-Wannian Temple
The hotel is very close to Wuxiangang (the departure point of the sightseeing bus + the entrance to the Monkey Area Scenic Area). We went to the Monkey Area on the first day and took the bus to Jinding early the next morning. The hotel location provides us with great convenience. The hotel service staff are also very friendly and enthusiastic. They helped us call a taxi and were very considerate. The hotel has its own restaurant and the price is not expensive, which was a bit of a surprise for us. They have their own self-service laundry service. After returning from the monkey area on the first day, the clothes were soaked, so the self-service laundry is very useful. After washing and drying, they can continue to wear them the next day, so they don't need to bring too many changes of clothes. If you plan to spend two days playing, the location of this hotel is very convenient.
JI HOTEL

City Center/Emei Railway Station
This hotel has just been renovated, the hygiene, environment, and service are all good, but the design of the bathroom shower room is extremely unreasonable (1. Shower room floor, 2. Shower room door water retaining strip). When I was taking a shower, although the floor was made of non-slip tiles, the drainage system was slow, and there was no sinking drainage system designed. Therefore, after the shower, there was still water and shower gel on the floor, making the floor very slippery. When I left the shower room, I accidentally slipped, causing my foot to step directly on the aluminum alloy strip at the door of the shower room, leaving a blood mark and purple blood bubbles. I contacted the hotel front desk, and after the staff came over to deal with it simply, the hotel never asked me about the follow-up. The trip to the next day was originally cancelled. I think everyone should be extra careful when taking a shower when staying in such a hotel!!!
Emeishan Hetang Yunqi Tangquan Homestay

Qingyin Pavilion-Wannian Temple
This B&B is located next to Shengshui Pavilion in Mount Emei. Not only does Hetang Yunxi have unparalleled mountain views, but its simple yet warm room design completely changed my impression of B&Bs on the mountain. The interior of the room is spotless, and the Zen-like style makes people calm and refresh themselves. When I wake up in the morning, I open the window and see green everywhere. The breakfast is a plus for me. The hand-made buns and dumplings are all made by my aunt. I go out to the mountains just for this. Take a bite of nature, the delicious food and the beautiful scenery complement each other, adding infinite comfort and satisfaction to the journey. It is definitely a rare choice for rest during the trip.
Xing Cheng Hotel (Emeishan Gymnasium)

City Center/Emei Railway Station
It is a pretty good Starway hotel, and it is worth investing in it. The hotel is in a good location, opposite a large square with a good view and plenty of light; behind it is the Big Buddha Temple, close to the east gate of the temple, and there is a long Xiangcheng antique street; the lady at the hotel front desk is very nice, kind and gentle, and gave us many recommendations for walking, such as the walking street, Shuyuan Street, and the fountain pool, and we also ate the Guoba steamed buns on Santaishan Street; the aunt who cleans the room is also very considerate. In short, I am very satisfied and will come again next time!
Pure Cloud Hotel

Qingyin Pavilion-Wannian Temple
We initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff. When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough. If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting. A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay. A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.
Emeishan Hotel (Baoguo Temple Visitor Center)

Baoguo Temple/Emeishan Railway Station
The room is old and the bathroom layout is a bit cramped, but the room is clean and tidy, the bed is very suitable for me, and I slept very well. The hot spring club is basically a children's water park. There are not many hot spring pools, but you can still soak comfortably if you go early. I have to mention the breakfast. The snacks are very rich, and the tea area is also very considerate. I drank tea for half an hour after breakfast. The hotel room was sent with milk and fruit plate. The plums in Mount Emei are really delicious. I bought a lot of them later.
