Travelodge Bristol Emersons Green

Nice clean and comfortable rooms for the price, excellent breakfast well recommended and felt good value for the selection on offer, however, dreadful evening meal, very poor quality, the only saving grace was the desert was nice

Room stank of cigarette smoke, we couldn't sleep, sore throats and coughs after. We were told the culprits had been fined but that didn't help us. It was one of the worst nights sleep we have had. It was the only room available.

Booked a super room and it was anything but. Coffee machine was less than adequate, the whole room was tiny with barely enough room for one person. Bathroom was so small and the shower left alot to the imagination. Shower curtain was discoloured and smelt bad. The bin in the room also smelt awful. Wish I hadn't paid the extra and just gone with a standard room as with the constant noise from other guests and the motorway outside it would have been the same.

I chose this hotel because it accepted dogs and was very close to the police station where I spent Tuesday morning giving evidence for a very personal case. This left me quite tired and very emotional. Returning to the hotel where the staff were very welcoming and compassionate, all with a smile really helped me deal with this. Thank-you to them all

From the outside, this hotel looks promising, but thankfully my stay was only one night. I was assigned a room with an extremely small bed, making it quite uncomfortable. The shower only reached lukewarm water, even on the highest setting. The room fan kept malfunctioning and wouldn’t work, and it was obvious that the cobwebs had been left untouched. The restaurant area felt cheap and uninviting, as if it had been designed on a tight budget honestly, even McDonald’s has a more welcoming atmosphere. It was convenient for my needs, but Travelodge consistently falls short. I might give it another shot in a few years.

The room was perfect for me and my husband super clean and comfy bed a massive thank you to toni who was super quick to check us in and serve us at the bar. She very polite and absolutely hilarious made our stay even better so thank you toni overall stay was brilliant well be staying again
