I WOULD GIVE THIS HOTEL 0 STARS IF I COULD!! Mold in the bathroom, loud ac that didn’t work. Ac lifted up the curtain everytime it went off, ghetto light fixture above bed felt like I was in a horror movie. Hotel was advertised as $39.99, it was $99. Advertised they proudly did military discount only to tell us “99 is the only price tonight” when we asked for military discount hotel should have been demolished years ago.

My husband is from the area but we live in Iowa. We visit family several times a year and we always stay here. The owners are wonderful and friendly people, and they never fail to remember us. The place is simple, but clean and comfortable. Convenience stores and restaurants are nearby, and it’s an easy location for the turnpike and interstate.

This hotel is ok in a pinch. The price was quite a bit higer than advertised due to the annual bike race. There is no breakfast, not even coffee offered. Only 1 skinny packet that might make 1 cup in roo, You have to walk acress the street to Casey's.

We stayed here in early December (through bookings.com) got a rate of $44.99 nice room (310) 1 Queen bed. Asked about the military discount and was told that’s only for walk-ins! So this time we did the walk-in. Not sure if we got the military discount or not because the price jumped to $57.99 (room 303) he did tell me the lower price was for one Queen bed he was giving us one King bed. I told him I didn’t need the king that queen would be fine. Then he said no queens available. So I paid more for something I didn’t need nor did I ask for. He told me, “New year everything going up!” But the sign out on the marquee said $35.99!!! Coffee maker did not work and Heater never did warm the room up. We got up showered and left. Next time we’ll stay somewhere else!
