Rossclare Lodge

Although a couple of miles outside Enniskillen, this bed and breakfast is a real gem set in gorgeous gardens, pristinely clean with lots of breakfast choice options.

Rossclare Lodge is a wonderful ‘home from home’, perfectly located for exploring the Fermanagh countryside. Denise and Jim offered a warm welcome, doing all they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The bedroom and en-suite were spacious and spotless, and we slept soundly in the comfortable king size bed. The thoughtful touches provided by Denise and Jim make Rossclare Lodge really special. Not just tea and coffee in the bedroom, but a jar of homemade cookies (yummy!) plus luxurious eco-friendly toiletries in the bathroom were the kind of extras which make you feel cared for. For breakfast, we were offered a range of tasty menu options to suit all tastes. We had to try the Ulster fry for our first morning! And the French toast with berries and crème fraiche on the second morning was the best we’ve ever tasted! After our days out, which included climbing the incredible Stairway to Heaven up Cuilcagh Mountain, we rounded off our evenings with coffee in the garden dome overlooking the wildflower lawn and colourful flowerbeds, and wandering down the lane to watch the sunset over Lough Erne.
