We stayed in the Ultimate as a family of seven. There was plenty of space for us all with ample storage for our luggage. There were good cooking facilities, utensils and everything we needed for our stay. We had lovely outdoor furniture and BBQ which we used a couple of times. We were a few minutes walk away from the main facilities of the park. The site itself was lovely. Bigger than previous ones we had stayed at. There were lots of activities for the children to get involved in from high ropes, football tournaments run by staff, pedalos, parks, swimming pools with slides. The children loved the wave pool and the pool party held one evening. The restaurant food was lovely and well priced, staff there and in the bar were great. Very friendly and helpful. The Shop was very well stocked with everything you could ever need and reasonably priced. The evening entertainment was great. All in all a great holiday and would recommend to anyone.

We have visited here a few times now and enjoy it. We always go out of season when it's quite as it is a big site with everything going for it. For us, peak season would not be our cup of tea as we suspect it would be far too busy and noisy, that's just us though. If you have kids, in peak season this is the place to be as every activity for all ages is covered. The Dome pool complex is out of this world. We're looking forward to seeing the new development finished. There are loads of lovely places to visit in the area. The nearby town, Dol du Bretagne is worth a visit. The main ancient street with it's timber buildings are fab as is the Saturday morning market. Get there early to get parked. Also in the town area are a couple of big supermarkets, petrol station, car wash, restaurants etc so well catered for. Coast about a 10-15 minutes drive away. We would recommend and we will certainly be back but as I said off season for us, enjoy your stay.

I should firstly inform.. we stayed on a camping pitch with electricity in July, 2 adults 2 children. For a 5* camping.. I was pretty disappointed. In short: Good points: - plenty of entertainment and activities for the kids - enthusiastic kids club entertainment - quiet at night on the camping - food can be hit and miss in the pizza restaurant but staff good - nice spar supermarket with fresh bread/croissants/pan au chocolat in the morning - felt safe letting the kids explore alone Bad points: - free wifi in the bar was impossibly slow, especially if busy - wifi could be bought for 25euros a week! - toilets were ALWAYS dirty and/or had no paper ( unless you count the paper strewn on the floor ) and no soap. - showers dirty, missing tiles, water ran for 4 seconds before you need to press the knob again... HOLES BETWEEN CUBICLES! confetti-ed with short & curlies. - bar staff very slow, even when not busy - paint flaking off the pool floor outside - dirty water puddles you have to walk through to enter the pool - parts of indoor pool smelled mouldy - washing up sinks leaked through the tap and were always dirty - our camping pitch was brown from previous tenants.. and showed no signs of growing back I dont think the fact there are many pools/restaurants/attractions makes up for the lack of basic cleanliness and upkeep of a 5* resort, especially when we pay a 5* price, hence my lower rating.

Still on my holiday at this resort, great park nice clean caravan alfresco I think your staff on this resort are the best Steve and Jill cannot fault then from leaving out the first cuppa,s as u enter yr van to coming round to make sure u have all u need 5 star service was not expecting but nice to see 👍👍👍 the park it's self is large and has plenty to do but did think it would become very hectic in high season but we came out of season so lots to do, I would come again but only in low season. All the staff on site from the people who work very hard on the activities to the bar staff and ever the people who maintain the ground all very friendly. We would like to thank all the staff who we meet for a really nice time

Having been to Des Ormes three times previously, we were looking forward to our return trip this summer. So disappointed with the standard of hygiene in the gites - filthy toilets, matresses and showers. Dead flies and spiders everywhere in the date of move in and all the crockery/cutlery in the kitchen was filthy. Reported to management... nothing could be done. We won’t be back! Disgusting... both in terms of hygiene and in terms of response from the management.

Oh, Domaine des Ormes! Where do I even begin? This campsite is simply divine! Nestled amongst the Breton woodlands, it's like living in a fairy tale, only with better plumbing (and hopefully less grumpy trolls). Now, some might warn you about the "local wildlife." Don't let those pesky travel bloggers with their fancy cameras scare you with tales of bloodthirsty mosquitos. Nonsense! These little critters are more like social butterflies... well, social vampire butterflies perhaps. They do enjoy a good natter and a chinwag over a spot of your finest O positive, but hey, that's just their way of showing affection, right? Besides, a bit of mozzie repellent and a good dose of Irish wit (which you'll find in abundance here) keeps them at bay. Speaking of the Irish, this campsite is practically an Emerald Isle reunion! You'll hear more craic and ceol (that's fun and music for the uninitiated) than a leprechaun convention. The friendly banter is enough to chase away any lingering mozzie blues, and let's be honest, there's nothing funnier than a gaggle of pasty-faced Brits trying (and failing) to master a jig after a few pints of Guinness. Domaine des Ormes is pure magic, with a healthy dose of Irish charm thrown in for good measure. Just be sure to pack your midge repellent, your best one-liners, and an extra bottle of holy water (for those particularly enthusiastic mosquitos, ahem). You won't regret a single giggle, céad míle fáilte (that's a hundred thousand welcomes)!

Came for a week with the family staying in Eurocamp mobile home. Site facilities are good except for the equestrian centre which if you are English I would avoid. Was looking forward to a ride out with my daughter and booked an hours ride. Arriving at the centre it was clear they did not like the English. Having both ridden since we were 4 and owned our own horses, I felt we were more than capable. We were taken into the school. Asked to mount, no step provided for me seeing as I am only 5 foot, I needed a step. Everyone else was offered one and I felt singled out. Having trotted around the school the instructor then told my daughter she could not go on the ride as it would be too dangerous for her. Another member of the group (French) and far less capable was apparently safe to ride. This was only a walk, trot ride. Absolute joke seeing as we are both capable riders. Needless to say I did not go on the ride without my daughter, morning spoilt and wasted. Would not recommend at all as made to feel very unwelcome.

First time as a family holidaying in France. Les Ormes is the perfect place for an active holiday centred around the kids. The pools were fantastic. The Dome has things for everyone to enjoy, water flumes, wave machines, aqua aerobics, and a lazy river. We swam every day. The kids loved it! Everywhere was kept SO clean too. We did the pony riding which was a wonderful, special memory and the pedalo is a lovely, relaxing way to spend time as a family too. We stayed in a tao mobile home directly through les ormes, very clean with comfortable beds. Take cleaning stuff and extra bin bags with you, along with cooking additions such as butter, oil, salt and pepper. The accommodation can with a microwave and hob to cook on. There wasn't an oven which was unusual but not a big problem at all. The animation team go all out for the big show. I've never seen such a theatrical spectical, the attention to detail and amazing fireworks display was something we will fondly remember. Recommend the pizza restaurant was a hit, really delicious fresh pizzas. The shop on site has plenty of things to buy, a little more expensive, but to be expected. Les Ormes, we had the best time. Your staff team are a credit to you.
